"Hello." Audrey laughed. She was an optimist, always laughing, even in these troubling times.
"Hey." replied Percy. He and Audrey had been dating for several months now. It really just looked like a matter of time before Percy proposed. For now they tried to go on a date at least once a month.
With the change in Ministers, Audrey had had to flee, because she was Muggle-born. She was living with some Muggles up in Scotland, and so far she hadn't been found.
Aside from that Percy and Audrey were just heading out on their date. Audrey had chosen a movie. Percy had never been before and he was a little bit excited. They had met in front of the movie theater.
It turned out Audrey had chosen an old black and white movie, just for a change. There was only one other couple in the theater, an elderly lady and her husband.
The lights dimmed. Then it started.
"How does it work?" asked Percy, amazed. How did Muggles have moving pictures? he wondered.
"I am not really sure, but I think in these old movies they take several pictures, and then they show them in order, so each one is only shown for a fraction of a second." whispered Audrey.
"And sound?"
"I do not know. You have to go to school and study these things."
The movie continued, Percy spouting questions all the while. He had inherited his father's curiosity. Audrey finally apologized to the lady, whose husband had fallen asleep.
"That's alright deary. You two remind me of us when we were younger. Who am I to stop young love?" said the lady.
Audrey smiled. The movie continued.
"This is kind of boring, isn't it?" asked Audrey.
"A little, yes." replied Percy.
They continued watching. "How is work?" asked Audrey.
"Mmmm." replied Percy thoughtfully "Well I really need to get out."
"Is the infiltration obvious now? We always suspected."
"Yes. My family was right. I was a jerk." Percy had told Audrey about his falling out.
"They will forgive you."
"I can't go back to them now, it will be suspicious. I can't put them in danger."
"No. But when the time comes, and this is over, they will."
"I miss them. I can't believe I missed Bill's wedding. He invited me, you know."
"Yes. I guess we will just have to wait until this is over and then we can be with our families again."
"I'm glad I have you to wait with." said Percy shyly.
"Me too." Audrey smiled. They kissed, and a faint sigh could be heard from the lady a few rows back.
