Characters: Squidward (Spongebob Squarepants), Korra (Avatar: The Legend of Korra)
Location: Art Museum
Scenario: Playing a Dating Sim
The dusty air fills the white rooms filled with art from all ages. Stuffy and "eccentric" connoisseurs marvel over the works of a first-timer's gallery. Finally after years of hard work he got his masterpieces on the walls of a local museum, in the United Republic. Who knew land fellows would flock to his marvelous pieces of beauty. Squidward has finally made his start as an artist! He reveled in the attention, the glory, the fame he felt pompously to himself. However one person's eyes were not on his precious pieces of his soul! She sat at a table with her Starbuck cappuccino and her attention on her laptop. There she sat the master of all elements the most important person in all Republic City. Squidward stomped over to her.
"Hey Ms. Avatar, if you're not here to look at my gorgeous art you can just leave," he snorted.
"Huh?" she questioned him as she removed her headphones.
"I said you can leave, Avatar!"
"What's your problem Octopus Spirit?"
"I am a squid, and a renowned artist!"
"Renowned? Isn't this your first art gallery show?" She smirked at him.
"Hmph, what are you doing that's more important than my wondrous art?!" he said sneaking over her shoulder and in all pink on her screen he read "Hot bending girl, love me life".
"What is this horror?!" His slimy blue skin turned hot.
"Well," she said, kind of embarrassed; she should have listened to Asami on this one and stopped playing her weird dating sims in public places, but she was addicted. "Well, it's a game where you pretend to date virtual people." She shrugged.
Squidward's squishy squid eyes widened (for Squidward was secretly lonely). "Well I guess this is an art in itself," he said trying to sound condescending about it.
"Uhh do you wanna play?"
"Yes!" He pulled a seat over and started a new game.
A long intro commences and Squidward's eyes go to happy to sad to devastated, his heart filled with such passion, a passion higher than any muse. They spent hours playing and in the end Squidward stared at the void of the dark room; Korra had left after the game. But he still stared into the void, his heart filled with an emotion that had no word; he had found his greatest muse.
Meanwhile Korra had told Asami about her strange story and how Squidward had lost the game on his first try.
"'Well, I guess you have to deal with it,' I told him and he just stood there staring at nothing so I left."
"Sounds like you had an interesting day," Asami said as she kissed her love's forehead.
