The Phone Call

I was sad when I left Charlie and Renée. If I could have only known earlier and be able to spend time with them.

I didn't know exactly where we were going at the time but after getting to Alaska I realized we were going to see Huilen and Nahul.

"Welcome to our new home Love." Edward said as we stepped off the plane.

"Wow! It's beautiful." I said looking around.

The scenery was beautiful; I looked across the air port and saw a river with a nice green island in the middle. The water was so blue and the sound of rush water was so soothing.

Carlisle was outside already with two very expensive cars; a yellow Porsche and a black Ferrari. Alice squealed.

"Oh Carlisle I love it! It looks just like the one I had back in Forks."

We got in the car and drove to Denali where Huilen and Nahuel lived.

The drive didn't take that long; before I knew it we were in the mountains.

"Where is this place?" I asked as we got out of the car.

"We are in the mountain of McKinley, Love." Replied Edward.

We were unpacking the car when Huilen and Nahul walked out of the house.

"Carlisle! Welcome. Please come in, we have your rooms already. Nahuel help them carry their luggage." Huilen showed us to our house. It was a nice little house that was built right beside Huilen and Nahuel's house. Carlisle and Esme were together, Emmett and Rosalie, Alice and Jasper, Edward and me and Renesmee got her own room.

Edward and I had finished packing. I sat on the bed feeling sad and missing Renée and Charlie.

"Bella'? Are you alright?" Edward asked looking concerned,

"Yeah, I'm fine I guess." I said sad.

"What's wrong? Please tell me." He pleaded. I shook my head. "Bella, please tell me what's on your mind, its very frustrating because I can't read your mind."

I liked this about me and Edward because he isn't in my head knowing everything I think.

I sighed and placed my hands on either side of his head. I focused really hard and gave him everything I was thinking. Out of nowhere Edward's soft, perfect lips touched mine. I kissed him back, though my mind was still thinking and worrying about Renée and Charlie.

A month later. Edward and I were lying in bed when I got a phone call.

"Hello?" I answered

"Bella? Bella, Bella, Bella." The voice said very panicked.
