"Well here is my stop,"Kagome said in front of her entrance to her apartment after a very long and dull date.
"Oh Kagome, I would love to walk you to your front door. It's the least I can do. It's so uncharacteristic for me to leave my wallet. Then my ex-girlfriend chasing you through the park. I really do apologize. Believe me that has never happened to me before,"Inuyasha said rubbing Kagome's bare forearm.
Kagome tried not to tense up at his touch.
Kagome ran her French manicured hand through her hair and sighed.
"Believe me I'm good, it's all good. If you don't hurry you might miss your bus home. And here is money for your bus fare,"Kagome said and started to walk backwards to her apartment building.
"I'll call you later! I'll make up this date up for you! I can't believe I left my wallet at home,"Inuyasha called out and ran to his departing bus.
Kagome rolled her eyes and walked up her stairs to her two bedroom apartment. She shared the apartment with her personal Cupid but better known as Sango Takado her roommate. Well her soon to be dead roommate.
Kagome unlocked her door and walked in her deserted and dark apartment.
She figured Sango was still at work as a flight attendant which was Kagome's week off.
She allowed her purse to fall down her arm onto the white tiled foyer of her apartment. She then took her clothes off while she walked to her bedroom.
She took off her sheer white blouse, blue floral printed skirt, and her beige colored sandals. Kagome then changed into her comfy black shorts and grey v neck t shirt with no socks on. She didn't bother leaving her bra on.
Zeet Zeet
Kagome looked at her phone and rolled her eyes. It was Cupid calling her. She silenced it and placed her phone on the table behind the couch placing it on the wireless charger.
She went back to her room to grab a pillow and went to the couch to think over her dating situation. She turned the t. to Hulu to catch up on her k-drama. She braided her hair and watched intensely as the climax of show was coming to the anticipated end.
Knock Knock
The knock at the door broke her concentration on her show. She looked at the clock and rolled her eyes.
'Maybe they will go away,' Kagome thought thinking it was her horrible date trying to make it up to her or some other crazy guy wanting to get with her.
She turned the volume down and continued to read the subtitles.
Knock Knock
Kagome let out an inhuman growl pissed that someone was bothering her.
She got up after she paused her show.
"Inuyasha I'm safe-wow,"Kagome said in awe and quickly closed her mouth.
"Sorry not Inuyasha but I'm your neighbor across the hall. Being that said my hot water shut off and I was wondering if I could use your shower,"the naked man with a tiny white towel wrapped around his lower wet naked torso.
Kagome looked up and the man had soap suds slowly rolling down his muscled pecs as if it was in slow motion. He had shampoo on top of his head with a sheepish grin on his face. His ocean colored eyes seemed to bore into Kagome's eyes undressing her lounging outfit.
"Huh? I mean yes of course. It usually happens but yeah come in. My name is Kagome,"Kagome said quickly and forcing her eyes up and trying not to wonder how big he was under that itty bitty towel.
"Name is Bankotsu, Bankotsu Taka. I really do appreciate this. I have work in thirty minutes and the water just randomly stopped,"Bankotsu said and followed his neighbor through her house.
"You live alone? No boyfriend or girlfriend," Bankotsu asked looking through her house.
Kagome had her back to the guy and shook her head no.
"I have a roommate. What about you?" Kagome asked and opened her bathroom.
She patted herself on the back because she had cleaned the bathroom earlier that day just in case she had a very adult sleepover.
"No single and I live alone. Thank you again neighbor," Bankotsu winked and Kagome giggled. She watched his tight muscles walk past her and saw no underwear on his thigh. She had this lustful want to just run her hands down his back.
Kagome fanned herself and went back to her couch to wait until Bankotsu was done with her shower.
'How I wish I could help him wash those hard to reach spots,'Kagome thought and began to get up to be a helpful neighbor.
As soon as she was about to get up, her phone went off again.
It was was Sango again.
Kagome looked down the short hall and the bathroom door was still closed and the water was still going.
"Hello,"Kagome said answering the phone.
"So did you put him to sleep or something or was he busy putting you to sleep?" Sango asked in a whisper giggling.
"Negative girlfriend. Left Inuyasha at his bus stop," Kagome said to Sango.
"What are you talking about! Inuyasha has a car and money," Sango said and apologized to whoever she was next to.
"Well he forgot it and something was wrong with his car,"Kagome said and heard the bathroom door begin to open.
"Hey Kagome do you have a hair dryer?" Bankotsu asked as his voice carried down the hall from the bathroom.
"Under the cabinet," Kagome called out removing the phone from her face to yell down the hall.
"Well who the hell was that?" Sango asked mildly impressed and surprised.
"Uhm our next door neighbor. Keep your panties on. His hot water got shut off while he was taking a shower. He asked if he could use ours,"Kagome innocently informed Sango.
"Uh huh. Is he cute? Got a cute butt? Yummy maybe?" Sango asked wanting to visualize her unknown neighbor.
"Might get diabetes. He is yummy and single,"Kagome said and looked behind her again.
"Interesting...Well I'll be back home at the end of the week. I'm taking an extra international flight so I can be off for your birthday week,"Sango said.
"Oh thank you best friend. I got to go. Talk to you later,"Kagome said and the women both hung up.
"Thanks again. I hope I didn't use up your hot water. But I was wondering if I could take you out for repayment of your generosity,"Bankotsu said.
"Oh that's unnecessary really,"Kagome said out loud but inside she was doing the 'yes,yes,yes' dance.
"Please. I won't take no for an answer. I'll ask until you say yes. Believe me I'm quite persistent," Bankotsu said and kissed Kagome on her hand.
"Oh-oh okay. Yea. When?"Kagome said.
"Tomorrow?" Bankotsu said and Kagome just shook her head yes and grinned.
Three Months Later
"Hey Kagome it's me Inuyasha. When you get this message please call me back," Inuyasha said over Kagome's voicemail.

"Hey Bankotsu ready to go to the bar to meet up with Sango and Ryuu?" Kagome asked looking for her phone.
"Yea but why is Inuyasha still calling you? Haven't you told him to fuck off? I don't like worrying about my woman with other men. Drop that fucker and I mean it Kagome. You fucking belong to me you understand!" Bankotsu yelled and slapped her across the face.
"Are you fucking serious!,"Kagome yelled and hid her face.
Bankotsu came close to her to apologize.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean that. You know how crazy I am about you! I love you too much!"Bankotsu said and turned her face towards him.
"No you don't! Love doesn't make another hurt! Get out! I'll just tell everyone you had something to do like getting your shit out of my apartment before I get back!" Kagome yelled and left with tears at the brim of her eyes.

One Month Later
"Thank you for giving me the chance to make it up to you! I have my wallet and my car is fixed. My ex-girlfriend has a new boyfriend so there shouldn't be any surprises now," Inuyasha said and chuckled a bit.
"Well I'm glad. I'm actually looking forward to getting out. Let's go!" Kagome said and closed her door.
She could feel Bankotsu looking at her through the peephole from the other side of his door. Staring at her. She shook her head and smiled brightly at Inuyasha and grabbed his forearm. She heard a punch on the other side of the door but kept walking as if she didn't hear the noise.

"Here is your food. I hope that you enjoy it. I will right back with a refill on your wine," the waiter said and Kagome thanked him.
She was really enjoying herself. Inuyasha was just about everything that she wanted. He made her laugh and think about other perspectives in life through their conversations. He was a breath of fresh air. When the waiter was bringing their wine again an unsuspecting person decided to visit them.
"Ka-Kagome. Wow! Fancy running into you here. Who's this? Your brother or something?" Bankotsu asked flaring his nose but trying to keep the tone of his voice upbeat.
He was trying to get his girl back by showing hitting her was a one time slip up.
Inuyasha reached for Kagome's hand and grabbed it.
"Uhm, no she is my girlfriend and you are?" Inuyasha asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Girlfriend? Kagome we were just taking a break from each other. Not going to see other people. What the fuck? Baby! I told you I was crazy for you and that you are the only one for me. I know I'm the only one for you. Come on baby let's drop this joker and we go somewhere to talk because I'm lonely without you baby," Bankotsu pleaded about to get on his knees.
"Bankotsu stop. You are embarrassing me,"Kagome whispered looking around at the other patrons gawking at their table.
"Do you want me to shout it out loud? I FUCKING Love you Kagome Higurashi! I want you to have my babies!" Bankotsu stood and shouted out loud.
"Excuse me sir but you must quiet down or leave. You are disturbing the other patrons' evening," the maitre'd said coming to the table making all the ruckus.
"That's okay. We will just leave. Kagome, Darling," Inuyasha said and held his hand out.
"She is fine right here asshole. Kagome come on. I'm taking you home where you belong and I will forgive you for stepping out me," Bankotsu said and stood up to take Kagome's hand.
"Ma'am," the waiter said.
Kagome was undoubtedly confused as to what just happened. She was enjoying a great evening with Inuyasha and was hoping to get a nightcap then Bankotsu randomly showed up.
Kagome looked at both of the men and grabbed Inuyasha's hand to leave.
Bankotsu started to breath hard and left knocking down a busboy that was juggling precariously a leaning tower of dirty dishes.
"Are you okay?" Inuyasha whispered in Kagome's ear.
"Huh? Yeah...I just have a bad feeling that's all," Kagome whispered and looked out of the glass window Bankotsu pulling fast from the parking lot.

"I can't believe that you are going to be my wife. I have to tell my mom. NO I have to tell my dad, oh Miroku and Sango would want to know. I love you Kagome," Inuyasha said in one breath.
She giggled while she was twirled around in her apartment. She still lived in her apartment across the way from Bankotsu. Every once in awhile there would be a random bouquet of her favorite flowers and chocolate but never a face to face conversation with Bankotsu.
Inuyasha placed Kagome down and went to the door.
"Okay I'm going to go and buy some beer and pizza. I love you," Inuyasha said and opened the door.
Kagome giggled and laid her head on the threshold about to close the door.
"I can't-," Inuyasha started to say.
But felt his chest as a rapidly growing red circle in the middle of his chest started to stain his white long sleeve casual thermal shirt. Inuyasha in shock clutched his chest as a knife dug deeper into his body. His knees eventually buckled and Kagome caught him.
Kagome saw this and started to scream out Inuyasha's name catching him in her arms.
"What the fuck! Inuyasha no!" Kagome went towards his falling body.
His face stuck in shock. His body started to twitch and his lungs gasping for air.
"What-who-why!" Kagome cried out.
"I told you Love Bug. I love you and Inutrasha was just in the way. He was an obstacle of our love," Bankotsu said in a far off type way.
Then he pulled out a gun and pointed it to his head. Through tears Kagome looked up when she heard the revolver cock back. Before she was able to move from Inuyasha's head on her lap the gun went off.
Kagome jumped and couldn't scream or anything. Bankotsu fell to his knees and the gun fell out of his hands.
"Wha-wha the fuck is going on! Why is this happening? Why is this fucking happening!" Kagome cried into Inuyasha's bloody chest.
His body laid motionless on the threshold. Kagome moved away from both of the bodies in a distressed mindset. She was numb and trying to process everything that was going on. She sat on the couch blood congealing on her pale body.

Kagome laid down and closed her eyes as tears stung them trying to get out.

Kagome woke up and looked around. The t.v. auto shut off with No Signal dancing around in the background.

She looked around expecting to see the dead bodies but it was clean and clear of blood and brain matter. She got up and went to answer the door.
"Yes?" Kagome answered the door.
"Hi, this is really random but I was wondering if I could use your shower?" a man with a white itty bitty towel around his waist.
'Bankotsu?!' Kagome said in her head recognizing the man.
"I-I don't think that my-" Kagome said and looked down and saw Inuyasha coming down her hall with a bouquet of flowers and chocolate dripping wet.
"My fiancee Inuyasha Taisho," Kagome said and tugged Inuyasha towards her.
"Oof. Hey Kagome. I just wanted to apologize-," Inuyasha started but his mouth was immediately occupied with Kagome's.
Bankotsu shook his head in confusion and went downstairs to the super to get his water working back right.
Kagome released Inuyasha breathing hard.
'He is an excellent kisser,' Kagome thought and pulled Inuyasha into her apartment.
Inuyasha followed a bit dazed from the abrupt but amazing lip lock with his date.
"I'm sorry about that. That guy he well, never mind,"Kagome said and crossed her arms across her chest.
"That's all right. Glad that I was of service. But I wanted to give you this and see if we could start over. I think we have a great connection and I want to take you out for real this time?" Inuyasha said and handed her the flowers he had in his hand.
"Yeah, why not. I think that we have a great connection to," Kagome said and smelled her flowers.
Kagome walked Inuyasha to her door setting a date night that weekend.
That date was the start of a flourishing relationship. One year later Inuyasha proposed and on the exact day they got married. A few years later they were parent to three rambunctious children but they wouldn't want to trade it for nothing.
Kagome got her happy ending.
