I wake up to the sun warming my face, and a heavy weight on my chest. I look down to see my beautiful Emma still asleep, arm across my torso and head resting on my chest wrapped up in my hooked arm. Knowing that she is comfortable with my hook and who I am, who I was, makes me smile. We're lucky it has been mild considering we must've fallen asleep on the deck of the Jolly last night. We'd laid down on my coat to look at the stars. Just to take one night before the madness had started, she wanted to be Emma Swan just one more night before she fully became the saviour once again, and I couldn't help but oblige. Laying here on the deck of the ship that had been my home for over 300 years with the woman I love asleep next to me was almost perfect. All that was missing was her family, happy and whole no longer under threat. I come out of my daze to see Emma looking at me with a mix of passion, gratefulness, sadness and determination in her eyes. I begin to sit up thinking she wants to move straight away when she puts her and on my chest and pushes me back down to her. "Five more minutes" She says before curling back into me. I know I'm home
