AN: Ok my first fic and It's kind of bad but whatever, ok and Luna's dad is really horrible in this btw.

I am Luna Lovegood and I don't cry.

Well I don't usually but I have cried once, but that's all, most people can't say that they have only cried three times.

"Me, your mother and Luna are just going to Diagon Alley to get some new cauldrons, you know that you've burnt a hole through every single spare that we had?" Dad called up the spiral stairs.

"Ok you go without me and I'll meet you there" Mum called down. I knew that she wouldn't, she would get so engrossed in her work that she work lose track of time and before you know it me and Dad would be back and she wouldn't have moved an inch from her desk.

"No you won't you'll stay here and work, and do you know why, because that child you have is spoilt, she gets everything she wants, if you didn't spoil her you wouldn't have to work this hard!" Grandma said sternly. Grandma dosen't like me, she thinks that it's my fault that Mummy works hard. Mummy always tells me to ignore her.

Dad took hold of my hand and we apparated. It was crowded in Diagon Alley. Lots of people, lots of things. Lots of places. Daddy had to stop at a big building to get his magazine thing I had to wait outside with Grandma while she ranted about anything she could. When he came Dad took me for an ice cream. The rest of the day was filled with little things which now seem insignificant.

Eventually we went home. Mummy hadn't come, she never did. But I didn't mind as long as when we got home she would give me a hug and make me feel loads better.

"Luna, you go and tell Mummy we're back I need to water the gibable plants" Daddy went off round the corner to water the funny blue plants and I went inside. It was very Smokey, and it smelt funny.

"Mummy?" There was no answer.

"MUMMY! MUMMMMMY! WHERE ARE YOU!" maybe she was playing hide and seek, she did that sometimes. I crept up the spindly stair and stopped there was some kind of green goo dripping down the stairs, I ignores it and approached the study. The door was ajar.

"BOO!" I jumped into the room, hoping to surprise Mummy and make her laugh.

Splosh!

I had landed in a big pool of green goo, it was then that I noticed that goo was splattered on the walls and ceiling as though there had been an explosion. Then I saw her lying there on the floor, covered in goo.

"Mummy" I poked her "Mummy you have to get up, we've got to go downstairs" There was a noise behind me, I turned to see Grandma standing in the doorway. She didn't look worried that her daughter might be hurt, she just looked angry at me.

"Oh Luna" She said "What have you done?"

"B-But I didn't do anything" I stammered

"It's your fault that she was working" Grandma told me.

"But I didn't mean for this to happen" I tried to explain

"Nobody ever means for these things to happen, but your mother is dead. Now, if it weren't for you she'd still be alive" I stared at Grandma my mouth slightly open with the shock of what she had just said.

"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Daddy was standing on the landing, he looked angry, I had never seen Daddy angry, but tears were sliding down his cheeks as he glared at Grandma.

It was the end of the funeral.

I was standing in front of the grave stone tears trickling down my cheeks, like diamonds, once again I read the words that had been carved on my mummy's grave.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am here, but I only sleep,

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the shining glints of snow,

I am the petals of the wild res rose,

I am the colours of the sacred rainbows,

I am the colours of the sunrise,

I am the stars in velvet skies,

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not here, I did not die.

It was then that I decided I would do what it said on my mother's gravestone. I wouldn't cry.
