Fiona P.O.V

I sat here next to the window looking outside as it rain…it was suppose to be a rain shower today, no storms or sever weather. Its quiet today, not a sound can be heard only the raindrops so I can be alone with my thoughts with nobody to bug me. Life can be complicated at time when you're around certain people that take it the wrong way.

I never knew what I had gotten myself into in the past…I thought I had made the right choice…but in the end it was all an illusion…just to be…I shake my head not want too dwell on it. Life wasn't fair for me…every time I would do something right…I would just get burn.

Curling up on the couch I was sitting on, I hug my legs…was there anyone I can ever trust…my parents had probably abandon me so long ago and didn't even care to look for me. And I don't even know what I was thinking when I betrayed the freedom fighters. I thought my life would get better if I went with…that green hedgehog…Scourge.

The so called King…he would call himself…why did I even trust him to begin with…that idiot…that…that.

I couldn't even think on what to say next…for so long, I trusted him with my heart…I...I was loyal to him.

I see a flash outside as a loud rumble is heard.

Its thundering…the thunder is loud and violent…so very violent…why did life had to be like this for me. So much Violence…so much

I can hear footsteps come into the room.

What's he doing up, it's really late?

Third person P.O.V

Fiona looks at a Lynx who was rubbing his left eye "Lightning, what are you doing up?" she ask as the former Raiju lynx walk over and sat next to her on the couch.

"You weren't in your room…so I came down to see if you're alright"

Nodding her head "y-yeah, I-I'm just thinking...that's all"

Even though it was dark, Lightning could tell something was bothering her "are you sure nothing is bugging you…I've been noticing you haven't got any sleep lately…you okay"

Fiona nods her head slowly "yeah…just needed to clear my head that's all," she looks at him with a small smile "thanks for checking on me" she said.

He gives a small nod to her "your welcome…don't think about the past…think about your future" he told her.

"I will…and can you help me think about it" she scoots closer to him on the couch.

Lightning slowly nods his head as Fiona gets closer to him to wrap her arms around the lynx; lightning returns the embrace as the two snuggle up together on the couch.

The two former destructix members stayed there on the couch listening to the rain together until they fell asleep. Whatever was going to be there future?

They Trust each other on it…to find out what that future is...together.
