Hello all this is my first attempt at making a fanfic and I'm starting with a songfic for Kekkishi. If it goes well I'll do the main ideal one in my head so keep in mind that this is a trial story. In short I'll do the Disclaimer: I don't own Kekkishi or Dance with the devil by Breaking Benjamin
Yoshimori's Lament
Yoshimori was just finishing up his Kekkishi training though he really doesn't want to do it, as goes into his house to relax he pulls out his CD player * and when he's hears this song it makes him think of how his life is right now.
Here I stand
Helpless and left for dead
Yoshimori thinks of the night that made him take his training seriously, the night Tokine was injured.
Close your eyes
So many days go by
Easy to find what's wrong
Harder to find what's right
After it had happened nothing made sense to him. It felt that he was in a nightmare. He found himself singing the lyrics subconsciously.
I believe in you I can show you
That I can see right through all your empty lies
I won't stay long in this world so wrong
Say goodbye as we dance with the devil tonight
Don't you dare look him in the eye
As we dance with the devil tonight
Trembling
Crawling across my skin
Feeling your cold dead eyes
Stealing the life of mine
He thought about the lyrics as they played and felt they symbolized how he felt about the whole event. How the whole event felt surreal to him and how he had prayed that it wasn't real.
I believe in you I can show you
That I can see right through all your empty lies
I won't last long in this world so wrong
Yoshimori then thought about how everyone said that it wasn't his fault, but he knew in his heart that it was.

Hold on hold on
As the solo had started he remembered the one lyric "hold on" he thought. That's all he had done when he made the vow to protect her, no matter what pain and suffering he would go though. As the song ended, he sang with silent vigor:

As we dance with the devil tonight

With that song, he found that had strengthened his resolve to protect her, well partly the song had helped him another was how he felt about her he chuckled to himself as he thought "Tokine if you only knew how I feel." He looked up he saw it was time to get himself ready for another night at Karasumori. As he packed his gear up to get ready to go he found humming the song under his breath.
Well that's my story tell me how it is and remember this is my first story so… all I can ask is to rate and review it, I want send a special shout-out to my teacher for helping me edit this (A/N for those who are wondering why I said CD player is because of a chapter in manga where Yoshimori couldn't figure out how to use a cell phone) Thanks everyone.
