Author's Note: I don't know about everyone else but yesterdays episode definitely made me cry. When the flowers deteriorated in his hands -- that was so sad. This is a poem I wrote after I saw the episode last night. It is how I think Maria is feeling because I had a feeling yesterday that I knew what she was talking about when she said she felt lost. So the poem also reflects my thoughts and feelings although I tried to stick to Maria's.
I'm Lost
I'm lost
And I just now realized
I've been wandering for ages
Trying to remember who I was
Trying to be who I was
And not who I am now.
I'm lost
But I hope to find my way
The way back to who I am
I'm not sure who that person is
I don't even know if I'll recognize her
But I know I have to find her on my own.
I'm lost
Though I hope not for long
I have a journey ahead of me
Not to make it back to where I was
But to recognize where I am now
It's just something I have to do.
