A:N: This is a short tribute to all those died in the Battle of Hogwarts, so there are spoilers. It isn't very long, but if you want a chance to read just a few sentences on those that lost their lives during the battle, this is the the one-shot for you. R & R if you have chance, please.

So many lives were lost
They fought against Voldemort.
They fought to defeat him.
They created a better world, but they weren't able to live in it.
They couldn't live in it, and they left their loved ones in it without them.
Their loved ones had to live in a world without them.
Fred Weasley left the Weasleys.
His twin brother George could never produce a patronus after his death.
Tonks and Lupin died that day.
Tonks and Lupin left their newborn son Teddy Lupin with no parents.
Both Lavender Brown and Colin Creevey died at such young ages.
Severus Snape died. He died still in love with Lily.
The Battle of Hogwarts marked the defeat of Voldemort, but so many sacrifices were made in order for him to die.
The Harry Potter series will stay in our hearts forever.
