I felt I need to contribute to the post Series finale haze. I was slightly disappointed they didn´t get a one hundred percent satisfying closure however I believe and many others that they started with a blank page Sarah will fall in love with him all over again or regain her memories over time or both. The writers said the ending is what the fans want it to be but that´s kinda disheartening, 5 years we fought for the show without us loyal fans it would be over seasons ago and that´s how they repay us?
So here it is. I came up with it as went along. Its not beta´d.
There lips touched and suddenly a flood of images like a dam bursting rushed into Sarah´s mind, Sarah meeting Chuck in the Buy More for the first time in 2007 she was searching for the intersect. The first time Sarah and Chuck kissed when they were seemingly going to be killed by a bomb, how electrifying and joyful it felt. Being a bridesmaid in Ellie´s wedding, how warming and amazing it felt to be a part of a loving family how accepted she felt for the first time in a long time. Making love to Chuck for the first time, it felt and was real.
She pulled back wide-eyed staring at her husband.
"Sarah, are you okay?" he asked concerned for his wife.
"I remember, Chuck, I remember everything." she said with a loving smile.
His lips formed a big smile and hugged his wife as the sun set below the ocean view. Sarah put her arms around her husband as they watched the waves as the day ended.
