The sound of battle surrounded me and I chuckled at the thought. It was ironic that after all she had done for me I still didn't get to repay her. Not that I would have the chance now. She was safe I knew that for sure and I would watch over; that's all I could do as my life slowly left me. I would finally get to be her guardian angel. She had been mine for years without me noticing. Foolish me not seeing what was in front of my face. All of that didn't matter anymore though because the only thought in my head was not seeing her angelic face anymore; her smile that gave me a purpose for living, everything about her down to the simplest ting like the slight blush that would always be on her porcelain cheeks. I would watch over her like I did on earth. I just hope I went to heaven so I could watch over her like she deserved. The background started to fade and as I took my last breathe and as I said these final words at felt at peace thinking about her. "I love you hina-hime".
