Chapter One.

Crisp darkness. A darkness of which concealed the figures that wandered, not to even leave a trace or silhouette behind, but a darkness which sucked up all aspects of existence under its blanket of cold, nipping frost. Even the moon seemed less bright despite it being the only source of light, which without would have deceived one into thinking they were blind in the suffocating blackness. Although, the nothingness in the streets of Spinners End did not bring injustice to Bellatrix Lestrange, not one tiny bit as she crept through the rows and alleys between the endless bundles of identical brick houses, her destination securely intent.

There were not many reasons to why she was doing such a thing, at such a bizarre time too. She had come to a decision, a decision of which could prevail justice, or backfire fatally. Bellatrix was sorted on which consequence she would prefer. Only one person could she trust, only one being which she knew had the potential power to help her, to guide her in the life changing conclusion of which Bella had struggled to come to, one of which she had been fighting herself against for so long that it made her doubt her place in the wizarding world for the very first time in her existence.

It seemed just like yesterday that she crept through the exact same streets, to the exact same house accompanied by her sister, yet that time Bellatrix had sworn her devotion to the Dark Lord. This time, her judgement was different.
