There have been those moments where you question everything. You question the value of life itself, your morals, beliefs, even your feelings. Are they worth it? Is anything that important? There are times where you feel like certain things we are supposed to care so much about like success, grades, looks, everything…just seem so...pointless.

But there are those times

Or that time

Where you meet someone who consumes you; someone that takes who you are and magnifies it and molds it into something so beautiful and makes you feel like you are not pointless, and that your existence is worth the whole world, is worth life.

and them being with you, changes your perspective on everything.

The void inside you is filled when you are with them, it is not only filled but it is pouring out of you and radiating light where darkness once was.

Harry sat on the lumpy hotel sofa with his back against the arm rest and his knees pulled tight to his chest. His curls were tucked sloppily away beneath a navy beanie and his hands were fiddling with the many bracelets on his arm.

I always thought of Harry as effortless. His presence was just easy and smooth. I admired that about him, the way he could just sit there and make me want to save him from anything that might ever bring him harm. I wanted to be whatever he needed me to be, his best friend, his protector, his enemy. Whatever it was, I would be it. When he was down my heart would lurch in pain but I would smile and help him, but he didn't know that his pain brought me more pain. I was weak beneath him, although I remained strong.

His head popped up when he heard me enter the living area

"hey" he said casually looking up at me

"Hey what are you up to" I plopped down next to him.

He shifted his position upright so we were sitting properly side by side.

"Nothing. I'm bored, I want to do something." He turned his head to look at me.

So close.

"yeah metoo. What were you thinking, going out or something?"

He glanced back down, resting his arm by his side so are forearms were grazing.

"Yeah I guess. Let's go out and walk around" he removed his arm away from mine and pulled off his beanie shaking around his curls then gently swooped them to the left.

"Sounds good, I'll phone Zayn" I pulled my mobile out of my back pocket ready to begin searching for his name in my contacts when Harry rested his hand on my thigh gesturing me to stop.

"nah, just me and you tonight, Lou."

Then I thought if people were wind, I would be a breeze and he would be a tornado.
