A/N: So...I'm just putting this out there cause I'm bored...no actually my brain is plagued with Greek myths and so I thought WHY THE HELL NOT?! Has this been done before? Oh well this just kinda got stuck in my head so~
Long there were powerful creatures, immortal beings who were set to rule the world. And rule the world they did. Nobody knows how these creatures came to be. Many made stories in hopes to give this inexplicable phenomena an explanation, hence the beginning of myths and legends, but they have yet to know the truth. In the lack of a better description, the mortals called them 'gods' and 'goddesses'. What they do know is that these creatures are very much alike mortals. In fact they were very much like humans, in the way we look, the way we think and the way we feel that they feel happiness, sorrow, grief, pain and even envy.
The mortals also knew that displeasing one of these 'gods' would bring misfortune to you. And so the mortals often give prayers and offerings to win the favors of the gods. However, one of the goddesses, the goddess of love and beauty, was known to curse many men and maidens alike for being more alluring than her. She had many other names, to some she was known as Aphrodite, to others as Venus, but in this story she was called by the name Minako Okukawa.
Now Minako was no means evil, she was in fact gentle. She blessed those who pleas for her assistance in the pursuit of love, so long are the intentions are pure. She has a pair of sharp, coffee brown eyes and an even sharper tongue. Her hair are long brown locks that flows gracefully to her waist, yet her temper is often short. In all of the poets and artists depiction of her physical beauty as flawless, her greatest flaw is not of the outside, but of the inside.
Envy.
She is rather vain and all the other gods and goddesses knew better than to incur her wrath. And so the day when a certain silver haired boy with eyes of the bluest oceans was born from the royal family of the north, Minako became wary. She knew beauty when she sees one and that boy was stunning. Although the boy was a beauty, she paid this no mind for now. Seeing as the years could change it.
This was a decision she regretted immensely in the far future.
