This story isn't going to have a happy ending, so I'm warning you! It's sad and romantic at the same time, but not a happy ending. If you like happy endings, run away now is your chance!

I thought of this thing, don't ask me how, I even wrote a little poem along with the fic. But the poem is so horrible, you may just ignore it. Poem is Italic, so you can just skip it. This takes place when the mews fought the big battle with deep blue.

We all have our feelings

They were there all along

You just didn't realize until it was too late

Zakuro's POV

I stood and watched the sword went down on him. He falls and lands on the ground in pain, breathing hard. I glanced over at my teammates, they were watching with horror, a few of them trying to fight the mad man going loose.

He was bleeding heavily, I could barely watch. Seeing that the others were now paying no attention to me, I ran over.

"Pai……………….." I whispered softly, tears almost dropping from my eyes. But I didn't want to cry………………….

He gives me a sad look and then groaned due to the huge wound on his arm.

The world between us is closing

My feelings I'm spilling

I felt the need to cry

The tears wells up in my eyes

The time between us is short

I don't see any more hope

"A-are you going to be------" this time the tears would not hold. I felt them slowly slid down my face. "Pai……………………….." All I could do was watch.

"Zakuro……………………." He whispers quietly, losing strength. "I-it's going to be all right, d-don't lose faith."

His words, so gentle, so kind, I've always thought he was the perfect one for me…………………but now it was a little too late.

Don't know what to say

I wanted to pray

Pray that you'll be alright

Hope that you'll make it to the light

But deep in my heart

I know that we'll have to part

"Please……………………………don't go," I said softly.

He gives me a small smile, it was so short and small that I nearly caught it.

"I-I'm sorry Zakuro…………………I-m sorry……………….." he whispers, losing his voice.

This is it

I fear the moment would hit

You're fading away

In my arms you laid

But I held your hand tight

Hoping that you might

Hoping that you'll fight

Fight for your life

"No,.don't go…" The tears were falling like a river now. But I didn't care, I needed him. My only true…love. "Please stay with me………………..come back to me………………….I-I love you."

You're gone………………..

You're…………………….done……………..

"I'm sorry, but I can't hold on much longer," he winces in pain and pulled me closer to him. A warm kiss was given, and his last words were said. "I-I love you Zakuro……………….don't ever forget it." And then he was gone……………………..
