» a/n: i was going to dedicate this but it's really terrible and i don't think anyone would want to have this dedicated to them.
:: monsters ::
there is a flame burning in her eyes
even though they look ice-blue
there comes a point when you have to fight back
and your lungs shriek in protest
her poisoned-ivy face kills you
as she cries out in harmony
you have the same smile, you know
so you wilt and fade into the shadows of who you must be
and it brings you together, this vague existence as delicate as porcelain
it also tears you apart
there is a horror buried beneath her whispers
she calls to you secretly
as do you
but no help arrives
she doesn't know anything any more than you do
but her desperate cries of help have long been buried
as have yours
now there is only a cold, hard surface
"like crystals," she says
laughing
there is a tinge of bitter lemons to everything she does
a trademark
when she burns you with her fiery kisses, you feel no pain
only lingering, melancholy sighs of what could've been love
she apologizes when she comes back home with blood on her hands
because she'll have to dirty the bath
this isn't love
it is a cold, cruel, emotionless word
a little like her
a little like you
business
(it's not like either of you asked to be monsters)
» a/n: if you want to know my own take on it, the characters are the kabras - isabel and vikram. and i'm feeling all angsty and poetic so no uppercase letters from me, nope. also i'm very very very sorry to andie because this is very, very lazy and i'll to my best to do my best the next time i try writing something but no promises.
