Chapter One- Eyes
? POV
Buffy. The Slayer. Have to find her. Have to warn her. Darkness is coming.
Buffy POV
The soft light of the moon shone on her face as Buffy Summers made her way home after that night's patrol. She had fought two vampires and was very tired. She made her way through the graveyard, weaving in between the maze of headstones. She turned, and saw two orange dots disappear behind a grave. They looked like eyes, watching her. She went to see what it was, but there was nothing. That's odd, she thought. I could've sworn I saw eyes. She kept going, but she still couldn't shake the feeling that someone or something was watching her.
Fox POV
The fox crept through the forest of big stones, knowing she would find the Slayer here. She was always here at night, fighting the No-Paw demons that drank the blood of other No-Paws. She had to warn her The darkness would be here soon. She found the Slayer walking alone, surrounded by the many large stones just as she was. She navigated them much easier than the fox did, for she had been here many times before. Buffy was very alert, on the watch for demon bloodsuckers. She turned and the fox dashed behind a stone. She couldn't be seen, not yet, not with the risk that the bloodsuckers would come. The Slayer had seen her. Se was coming this way. The fox sprinted over to behind another stone. When the Slayer saw that there was nothing there, she went back on walking. The fox followed. The darkness was coming. The Slayer had to know.
Buffy POV
When Buffy got home that night, she wondered if she should tell someone about the eyes. She had never seen anything like it before. She had no idea what to think. She decided she would tell Giles in the morning and see what he thinks. So Buffy went to sleep. and her dreams were full of glowing orange eyes watching her, glinting in the moonlight.
