Asylum
A supernatural/ Outlast crossover.
Note: I have never seen a crossover like this, so I am going to jumpstart it.
AN: I know I should be updating Found, but the more I procrastinate the more uninterested I become. But it will happen.
Summary: Sam and Dean hear legend of the Mount Massive asylum from the small town only ten miles away from it. There was so much legend that Sam and Dean decide to investigate, their lead: A reporter that is currently missing.
Chapter one
Whistleblower lead
"it's a haunted asylum, of course it's going to have legend and be creepy," An unconcerned mother says to the two brothers as they interview the locals nearby Mount Massive Asylum. Something was clearly wrong with Mount Massive, there was a lot of mystery surrounding the place plus there was the Murkoff Corporation who is known for its corrupt dealings. Sam and Dean Winchester did not get the chance to see the place, or investigate for it was Sam's idea to get a proper lead just in case that Mount Massive is what it really is: an abandoned mental asylum.
Sam Winchester searches the web for anything on Mount Massive Asylum and Murkoff Corporation, surprisingly there is very little about Mount Massive Asylum and Murkoff.
"Murkoff's known for very shady dealings, and Mount Massive Asylum is a place for the criminally insane, there's next to nothing about it," Sam purses his lips and runs a hand through his longish blond hair.
"So, what do you suggest we do? Continue on with the case, go into Mount Massive guns blazing or leave it?" Dean sips his alcohol leisurely.
"Well, we continue with the case of course, because I think- ah! I think we have found ourselves a lead," Sam smiles opening up the e-mail transcript and Dean Slips out of bed to look over his shoulder.
Dean reads the letter from what was identified as a whistleblower and whistles.
"Dream therapy going too deep?"
"Must be a bunch of unethical stuff going on there- or it's seriously supernatural," Sam said, "I have a weird feeling that the person who wrote this is already dead,"
"Do we go in there guns blazing?" Sam asks as he closes the laptop.
"Hell yeah we do," Dean says indignant at the question, "This whistleblower works for these nutcases if he's becoming as insane as the nutcases they take care of- this might be a serious case of a bunch of nutcases that are existing, or something supernatural. 'don't believe half the things I see,'" Dean quotes, "What d'you think? Demon?"
"I'm thinking angry homicidal ghost, but it sounds possible," Sam says, "We go visit Mount Massive tomorrow- a quick in and out,"
And of course, knowing the Winchesters it's never a quick 'in and out'.
