The forest of Envy
There was once a cat named Luka. She was in love with a dog. Everyday, the dog went to the bridge with one of his sisters. One day, however, Luka had a great idea. She didn't know that fox was his sister. She thought, "If that's the kind of girl you like, then I will become her…"
That night, there was a loud scream that the whole forest heard. The next day, the dog was on the bridge crying to his other sister, the lizard. The cat thought, "If that's the kind of girl you like, then I will become her." Again, that night, there was a piercing scream.
The next day, the dog was crying to his third and last sister, the bird. The cat thought, "If that's the kind of girl you like, then I will become her." At nightfall there was one long, shrill scream. The next day, the dog was on a bridge by himself. Luka walked up to him. The dog looked at her and then his eyes widened. "Why do you have my sisters' clothes?" Luka was wearing one piece of clothing from each of his sisters. A green ribbon from the bird, a yellow pin from the lizard, and a red collar from the fox. He screamed "Y-you're the killer!" Luka ran up to him and yelled "I love you!" The dog screamed again. Suddenly, the cat's eyes grew dull. "Your scared of me?" The dog screamed his last scream as he was killed. "You barely even knew who I was!" she screamed at his body. There was a crazed maniac laughter as Luka ran forever through the forest.
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
(A/N ok...This is based off the song: The tailor shop of Enbyzaka. Again, another fable for school. We had to write 3... I would of made it more detailed but then it wouldn't be a fable anymore.)
