I don't own Victorious
Those words are not words she never heard before but when he said it, it was as if she were hearing it for the first time. He isn't the first guy to ever hold her hand but when he holds her hand she gets a feeling she never had before. The first time he kissed her he knew that she was his forever. It was very hard for her to trust but he slowly and carefully broke through to her in a way nobody anyone could. When she spoke he would sit up straight, look her in the eye and give her his full attention. If she said something it stood. He would never contradict her. When she went through a difficult time he was the only one that she could trust. Sometimes they would have a full and meaning conversation without saying a word. She once said to him, "We understand each other right?" and he knew that they did. He could take the worst day in the world and make it the most perfect day. If she were in h*** he would go beyond the end of the earth to bring heaven to her. She trusted him. Most of the time she would hold it together but with him, she didn't feel like she had to. He was the only one who knew her weaker side. She learned many things from him but the most important one of all... it's okay not to always be strong. Now he was gone. She no longer had him. Cancer had eaten away at his body but his soul was forever her. For the first time she cried unashamed.
She was screaming and crying and kicking in her sleep. She felt a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"Jade," he soothed, "It's okay babe. You were just having a bad dream"
She buried her head into his chest and cried.
"The cancer killed you," she said, "I lost you"
"Jade," he said, "That was just a dream. My cancer has been in remission for 3 months now and I've never been better. You will NEVER lose me babe."
