(A/N: I don't know where the idea for this came from. I wrote a companion piece to this also, and I'll probably post it soon, so be on the look out for it. Enjoy!)
Living
Leah Clearwater died in a car crash.
Everyone was in shock, especially Jacob.
Everyone thought that werewolves would heal too quickly for a car crash to kill them.
Jacob thought that Leah was too strong to be killed.
When they were in wolf form, Quil and Embry would often theorize about why Leah was killed so easily. She was a girl and therefore didn't heal as fast as the rest of the wolves, she set it up because she wanted to die, the list went on and on.
Jacob tried to avoid phasing after that.
Jacob hated them for taking Leah's death so lightly, and he hated himself for still being alive.
Sometimes Jacob considered joining Leah, because it would be easier than living with this hatred of himself.
He knew Leah wouldn't have wanted that, though.
Jacob knew he had nothing to do with Leah's death.
So why did he feel so guilty?
(A/N: This sounded better when I first wrote it…Let me know if you see any typos, and reviews are love. (I really need to find something else to say instead of "reviews are love," don't I?))
