T.K. kissed me. I blushed a deep crimson. I wished him luck. He slayed the monster, but it regained health...stronger and more powerful.
T.K.'s crest started glowing. It seemed as if it made him stronger...I hope it did. My wish hopefully came true. Aria is on the side. She told me that everything will be okay. If someone dies, it wouldn't matter. Death and rebirth, she said. We'd be born again. We would just awaken from what seemed like a long slumber, and keep going on until the real time to die.
Oh, no...the monster is heading toward me...its eyes are glowing...I close my own, thinking it might turn me to stone, like Medusa. I then hear a slaughter and a roar of pain; that must have been T.K...thank God.
"AHHHHHHH!" I've forgotten about everyone else! Oh, no! I run to Tai.
"Kari, get out of here! It's too dangerous..."
"...and I'm gonna help!" I continue.
Tai has a huge wound near his heart. I focus my power and heal the wound. "I have to help, Tai. There's no reason not to. Everyone is in this. Matt is down. But he will return." I whisper calmly.
"Kari...oh, what's the use? Fine. If you're gonna help, be careful. Please." Tai says.
Aria is glowing. She is doing something. She is giving someone their true power. She is giving me my true power! I am glowing the color of my crest. I feel strength flowing through me. I can cast little attack spells, but I have many healing spells. Now I don't have to move around to heal. I just focus my power to heal everyone except the monster. I'm glad. But...is it enough? I hope so.
