Izzy: HEY! Long time, no see!
Roecliff: Where have you been?!
Izzy: Working on my book, but I'm currently putting it on hold to give my mind a break. In the meantime, I was getting ready for the Christmas season and thought you guys would enjoy a little fun poem written by yours truly!
Roecliff: *reading paper* Wait! You mean, this isn't that story you wanted to write!?/div
Izzy: No, but it is something Zelda, so get over yourself! I'm...still working on it...kind of...
Roecliff: WHAT?!
Disclaimer: Nothing in this that is Zelda related belongs to me.
'Twas the night of the Carnival, when all through the town
Every creature was stirring, for the moon was falling down!
The clocks, they all ticked the hours away,
No hope that tomorrow would come the next day.
Some people were crammed all tight in their rides,
While others remained, all the signs denied;
And Tatle all aglow, and I in my mask,
Had rushed to Clock Town to finish a task.
When we got to the town, there arose such a clatter!
I jumped and ran to see what was the matter.
Away to South Clock I flew like a flash,
Climbed up the Clock Tower in a mad dash.
The moon in the sky in all of its giant might
Gave a glare of anger, which was quite a fright,
When what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But a miniature imp and a little glowing sphere,
Behind a mask, his face was hid.
I knew right then that he was Skull Kid.
I played the Oath, and soon they came,
And stopped the moon, and ended evil's game.
"Hey, Skull Kid!" shouted Tatle. "Do you know what you've done!
You almost destroyed everything and everyone!"
"Don't blame him!" said her brother. "He's just been lonely!"
Suddenly, the mask said, "He was only a phony!"
Then up to the moon did that mask fly,
Then, the moon continued to fall from the sky!
So up to the moon I went with my crew
With great determination, and my courage, too!
And then, in a twinkling, I saw all around
A great big meadow with a tree on a mound.
As I drew nigh, I spotted children four,
And against the tree on the mound was one more .
They were all wearing masks, and playing games
"Play with us!" each one had proclaimed.
After playing their game of hide-and-seek,
I approached Majora and he began to speak:
"Everyone's gone, but will you play with me?
Take this mask, for on you, no mask I see!
Our game will be fun! It's evil versus just.
And you're the bad guy; so run...if you must."
I suddenly appeared in a very round room,
And out from my pack the boss' masks zoomed.
Each one attached to the domes on the wall.
Then out popped Majora's Mask, the worst of them all!
I placed on my face the Deity Mask,
And became a giant, ready to finish the task!
The battle raged on, with Majora's Wrath at hand,
I finally struck him down, the evil banned.
As the moon crumbled, my mind went black
I woke up in Termina: I had somehow got back!
I spotted Skull Kid with the Four Giants tall.
He began to cry, and then, he balled:
"You never forgot me? You're still my friends?"
And away the Giants went, to all the world's ends.
The Skull Kid and I talked, and friends we had become,
But then, I depart upon Epona...making my journey home.
Izzy: That was a fun little diddy...And I did that all in an hour! Talk about a record!
Roecliff: You want to talk about records? How about "How long it takes for an author to finish a story?" record?
Izzy: Please comment and tell me what you think! :D
