Chapter 1
One louzy crappy rainy dark day Lorelai is sitting in pottery at summer camp when Luke walks in.
''oh hi.'' he says coming in
''hi.'' she says
Luke goes over and sits down across from her on the other side of her pottery wheel.
Lorelai rubs her pregnant stomach.
''oh you okay there?'' he asks her
''yea yea just fine just the baby has been moving a lot lately.'' she tells him
''oh so uh when are you due?'' he asks her
''um in 2 months on October 8th.'' she tells him
''oh um is the father excited?'' he asks her
''oh well actucally we broke up when I learned that I was coming to camp for the summer.'' she tells him
''oh well I'm...I'm sorry.'' he tells her
Lorelai just shrugs and looks up at him ''well it just is what it is.'' she tells him
''how are your parents taking it?'' he asks her
''what that they have a pregnant daughter that they thought she was going to be what they thought they had in mind for her?'' she asks him
''um okay wow.'' he says
''yea well they hate me for it they really really hate me and practcally disown me and I have to move out when I move back.'' she tells him
''oh well if you need a place to go and stay at you can uh move in with me.'' he tells her
''What?'' she questions him
''well you're going to need a roof over your head once the baby arrives.'' he tells her
''oh Luke that is very generous and nice of you to offer but I don't think I can.'' she tells him
''why not?'' he asks her
''well because.'' she says
''because why?'' he questions her
''because Luke we haven't even been going out for all that long isn't a little soon for you to be asking me to move in with you?'' she questions him with the eyes he just loves when she gives them to him
''well I don't know.'' he says
''plus my parents would never let me move in with you.'' she tells him
''well why should they have to know where you are if they hate you so much?'' he asks her
