It was raining again.
'for once.. I'm not going to cry' Ran thought to her self even though she was fighting a losing battle. A tear trickled to her right cheek. She couldn't help it, she stared to cry against her will.
"Damn you Shinichi" she whispered between her sobs.
These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase
Conan was standing in the doorway watching her, his vision getting blurry. It hurt him to see her cry, to see her not smile every day. He would kill to have her be happy, for her to have him back.
"Ran…"he said stepping out in to the room.
"Are you alright" he knew the answer.
"I'm fine Conan…. Its late… you need to get some sleep" she said, forcing a smile on to her face…the one that hurt everyone because it was so fake.
"um.. is it ok if I go to"
"yes its fine" she had knew what he was going to say and he didn't need to finish his sentence.
Putting on his shoes and walking out the door he walked to Dr.Agasa's.

He walked into the lab were Ai was at. For once she looked sort of happy.
"Ai.. I need"
"Here" she said handing him a pill.
'Am I really that predictable' he thought.
"I found the cure and was about to call you. You can go back to your Ran now"
Having no time to blush at what she just said he ran out the door to his house unlocked the door with a hidden key and ran up to his room and got ready.
When having finally finished he got a glass of water and swallowed the pill. Pain stared taking over his body and then he fainted

When he woke he looked at him self in the mirror. He was back to Shinichi. Taking a minute to get used to his old height, he then ran out the door to get Ran (lol.
Running as fast as he could he finally made it to her house. Knocking on the door he smiled to him self knowing who would answer hoping she wouldn't kill him.
He looked up to see her face.
"Hay Ran. How you…"he felt a sharp pain in his side and looked over. He had been shot in his side. Ran screamed. As he looked over to see who did it he already knew. Gin was standing there smiling.

Ran bent down to his side crying. He was barley hold on and the both knew it. She called to her father who had awoken by her scream and told him to call and ambulance.
"Ran.. I love you. I always have.
"Shinichi.. I love you too" she said watching him start to cry.
She picked up his head and kissed him and then felt his body go limp. She looked down at him and then screamed as the ambulance pulled up.

The funeral was small.. It was only family and friends. Ran grew older as time when by… but she always loved her Shinichi.
I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone But though you're still with me I've been alone all along
