Tomoyo Daidouji sipped her cocktail. She surveyed the crowd of heiresses and businessmen. Summer parties meant that the population left the sweltering heat of the capital city for the beach. It meant another social season for the rich and elite. This party was held in a yacht.
"Are you enjoying yourself?"
"I am now," she purred as he kissed her neck. Her fiancée, the money/sex god Kyouya Ohtori, wrapped his arms around her protectively. They watched the crowd dance below. "I'm lucky. You're not one of them."
"Neither are you."
Their bodies were silhouetted against the sudden burst of fireworks.
