Story notes:
Welcome to Alex Rider Gets His Revenge. This is version 2.0. I do intend to finish this story at some point and the time is now. Please read and leave a review if you liked the story! Also, as a heads up I've taken out most of the A/n's at the start of the revised chapters so if you have any questions just PM.
Please check out my page tablo (**dot**) io page for some of my original works (it's been taking my time along with uni). My username over there is DawnProphecy.
Let's get this show on the road!
Disclaimer(this will be the only one that I do, you all get the point): Do I look like I live in the UK? No, well except for that year I lived in Leeds. Do I look like AH? No. Then it's easy to, therefore, deduce that I do not own anything except my OC characters.
Chapter One: In which Alex Is Annoyed
Alex blinked, and then blinked again. He couldn't believe this was happening. He repeated the question again in the hopes that Alan Blunt had grown a sense of humour and was pulling a joke.
"You want me to go where and do what?"
Alan Blunt sighed while Mrs Jones placed a mint in her mouth. Tulip Jones looked to the boy – or rather young man – before her and sighed as Alex continued to question her boss.
But to Alex's dismay Alan Blunt had not, in fact, grown a sense of humour, and was deadly serious as he replied.
"I want you to return to Breacon Beacons. While there you will re-join what was your original training unit, known to you as K-Unit. They are individually being bought back together to reform the unit to act as a form of mentor and as an opportunity to re-train their skills. Joining you will be agent Daniels. This trip is the only way you will be safe…" Blunt was cut off as Alex went from confused to, quite, angry in seconds,
"You want me to go back to hell on Earth? To be safe? To the place where I was treated lower then dirt the last time I was there. Are you both completely and utterly mental?"
During the rant Alex had stood up and started pacing, all the while gesturing wildly before stopping suddenly and calmly sitting back down again. He'd had a flash of an idea during his ranting; if his idea worked it would be plan that would make K-Unit wish they had never seen him again, and make Blunt wish he had never had this ridiculous idea. Oh yes they were going to pay, and pay dearly for this Alex thought to himself before speaking the smirk now in his voice as well,
"Very well if you are sure it is the best way to keep me safe"
Both Alan and Tulip contained looks of surprise at Alex agreeing so quickly to their terms. Terms that included his return to the SAS camp for an undisclosed amount of time for his own safety; it was a plan the both expected to have to force Rider into,, but here he was accepting the change with only the smallest outburst of rage. By far one of the smallest out bursts they had ever seen from Alex Rider.
Tulip sighed again as she noticed the smirk slowly crawling across Alex's face, so very like John's, she suddenly had a bad feeling about this , but as long as no permanent harm was done she would not draw attention to it. Blunt was soon quick to send Alex on his way and avoid any potential defiance,
"Be ready by tomorrow 0800, we will send a car for you, one that you will be in. That is all you may leave now"
Alex stood up and headed to the door, as he left he turned back to the heads of MI6 and with a wink he walked out, already plotting and planning how he was going to get his revenge on everyone.
After a night of planning; the next day found Alex walking through the halls of the Royal and General bank towards Smithers office. If he had to go back to SAS he was going to let chaos of his own making reign. Alex, yet again, smirked, it was going to be magnificent. It was the smirk that Alex now wore that made some of the newer recruits nervous. Many of them tried to avoid making contact with the boy, by looking down or going into other offices with important documents that just had to be signed right at that very moment. They were most certainly not retreating from the path of the teenager, no not at all.
Alex had finally reached his destination and with a knock he was ushered inside and given what he needed by the smiling man, let the games begin. As Alex thought this a room of men shuddered in unison before dismissing it as nothing, little did they know that it was there only warning of the revenge of Alex Rider featuring the mad genius of Tom Harris.
Alex was meeting with said friend immediately after meeting with Smithers in order to plot and plan his revenge. With their minds combined they would make magic. In Alex's hand he held up blue prints and a plastic bag both courtesy of Smithers. A productive morning had been had but the afternoon would be even better.
That afternoon, and into the night, many evil laughs could be heard coming from young Tom's room. Sure if Alex was caught by he would be dead but Alex was a little crazy like that. The plan forming was the pairs most evil yet including, perhaps, that one time with Ian where they were to never speak about.
It was that same day that K-Unit sat in their hut playing cards, it was the day before the day that was going to inflict Alex on them. It was on this day that a potential reprieve from Rider & Harris' plan of retribution, title a work in progress obviously, was offered to them, in the form of an individual.
Eagle opened the door to the cabin after meeting with the camp sergeant, a grin on his face.
"Gentleman do I have news for you. Fox is heading back to camp, with another MI6 agent. The Sargent wouldn't tell me why, apparently it was classified".
Wolf looked up from his cards and saw no trace of a lie in the other man's face. Snake meanwhile was placing a card up his sleeve, while Lion only looked confused. Fox he knew was the man he had replaced; but why would he be back to train with the SAS? Perhaps it was for the same reason they had been called back?
Wolf was finally going to find out what happened to Cub after the Point Blanc mission. After all it was MI6 who ran the mission and Fox was an MI6 agent. It just hadn't sat right with the man that a young boy had snowboarded down a mountain on an ironing board and MI6 hadn't explain why?
Eagle on the other hand was coming up with a list he had dubbed 'Reasons why Fox was coming back to the SAS'
There is a story on my page dubbed Eagle's List which is as the title suggests is Eagle's list of 'Reasons why Fox was coming back to the SAS'.
