Lyna-4 materialized on the main floor of the tower. As she did she reached up and removed her helmet before inhaling deeply "good to be home" she said in a quiet voice

she started walking down the right pathway, passing some familiar faces along the way. She waved at Rahool and gave a small nod to Banshee-44, who returned it before going back to striping a rifle

she stopped briefly at the vaults to store some gear she'd picked up and then continued down the wall until reaching the small area where Lord Shaxx resided

"Ah my favorite hunter, great last match" he said as he looked away from his monitors

"Evening Shaxx, I am worn out" Lyna saud as she sat down by the table that Arcite used

"Can Exos even get tired?" Shaxx asked curiously

"Well let's put it this way, i sure as hell feel like i'm tired, but I can guarantee that if i had to get up and go through another crucible match you couldn't tell" Lyna responded and leaned her head back against the metal desk

"You know , I think that out of all the Guardians I see come and go on a daily basis, you're the only one that I see actually take some time and rest" Shaxx said and offered her a drink "Because you want to, not because you physically need the rest"

Lyna accepted the glass and chuckled "It's good to slow down every once in a while and smell the roses, cheers" she said and took a drink "You spend so long out there, sometimes you forget what you're fighting for. You become some mindless automaton"

"Pretty sure that there's some kind of lifeless machine joke in there somewhere but making it would be below me" Shaxx chuckled as removed his helmet and drank from his own glass

"You know" he spoke up after a few minutes of silence "It's a good thing that there's guardians like you out there" he told her as he looked back out over the city

Lyna looked up with mild surprise, coming from him that was high praise, usually only reserved for flashy plays in the crucible

"new match is starting, I need to get to it, but you're welcome to stay" He told her as he put his helmet back on and returned to the crucible screens

Lyna remained there for a while, watching the guardians come and go

"I enjoy these moments" Lyna's ghost spoke up

Lyna nodded "So do I, Little Light" she said with a chuckle

"I'll pretend I didn't hear that so we can enjoy the calm" he responded and gazed out over the rooftop

From their spot they could see a large portion of the area, from Zevala over to their right, to the Eververse stand a ways in front of him

after about an hour and a half of sitting and watching the crucible feeds and the guardians on the tower Lyna finally stood up

Shaxx glanced back at her "Heading back out?"

Lyna simply nodded and put her helmet on "There's work to do, but im sure you'll see me in the crucible later" She told him and pulled her hood up

Shaxx nodded "Best of luck to you guardian" he said as she warped to her ship

Arcite and Shaxx looked towards the hanger in time to see Lyna's ship fly out and up into the sky
