Compa and IF were sitting on a bench in the park, enjoying the fresh summer air as they relaxed. They'd just left Neptune's place, where they'd been for the past few hours trying to sort out a mess that Nepgear's new invention had caused. Pudding-stealing robots, miniature aliens, and psychotic Dogoos had all been involved. To say the least, the two girls were pretty tired.

"I'm a little sleepy, Iffy..." Compa said, stifling a yawn.
"In that case, should we head back to your place?" IF asked.
"Hm... no, I want to stay here longer. It's so peaceful..."
"Yeah, I'm not in a hurry to get up either." She agreed with her, smiling.

Compa yawned again, however. "Maybe I should take a nap... Do you mind, Iffy?" She asked, looking rather sleepy.
"No, I don't mind." IF told her, smiling. "I'll wake you up in a bit."
"Thank you." The girl said.
"Yeah, no probl-... eh?"

Compa had laid her head down in IF's lap, much to the girl's surprise. "Uh, Compa?" The brunette muttered, confused. When she received no response, she realized that Compa had already fallen asleep!

"...What am I supposed to do now?" IF asked herself, looking down at the girl's face. She looks kind of cute... IF thought, right before her cheeks reddened up. W-w-wait just a moment! I didn't mean it like that! Sure, she's cute, and nice, and really cares for her friends, but I'm not into her in that kind of way! She just looks really, really cute right now!

IF grabbed her head, trying to calm down. Compa is cute. There's nothing wrong with thinking that because she is cute. I'm just acknowledging how cute she is as a fellow girl. Nodding to herself, she straightened up and looked back down at her sleeping friend. She really is... cute. She placed her hand on Compa's cheek, brushing a loose strand of hair out of her face.

"Iffy..." The girl muttered, nearly making IF jump. She thought Compa had woken up, but the girl was still sleeping.
She... said my name in her sleep? The brunette's face was beet red, her heart going 'doki doki doki'.
The girl wasn't finished, though. "Iffy... is so cute..."
Her heart skipped a beat, even her ears turning crimson.

Compa... called me cute... IF couldn't resist placing her hand on her friend's head, gently running it through her hair. She was so embarrassed she could barely think, so she whispered something to the sleeping girl she probably normally wouldn't have, "you're cute too, Compa." She said, a special kind of fondness in her voice.

Compa continued to sleep for awhile, IF running her hand through her hair as she enjoyed the fresh air, the peace and quiet, and the cute girl resting her head in her lap.

She loved it.
