I sat on my couch,listening to "live to win" by paul stanley...a tear rolled down my right eye,but i shook it off...he said not to cry for him,so im not going to...I thought to myself...I got up and walked to my balcony...the sun was setting,and the stars wer beginning to appear in the night sky...I sighed..."I wish you were here with me,knuckles."...Just then,something light blue appeared in the night sky...and it was heading toward me...acting on instinct,I backflipped out of the way moments before it crashed on my balcony...it crashed on my balcony...but...the blue light had dissappeared,and in it's place stood a figure...a figure in a black jacket,black pants,and a gunblade on his shoulder...it couldn't be!..."kn-knuckles?"I asked,anxious and happy at the same time...the figure turned around to face me,his violet eyes looking directly into mine...then,he spoke the four words I wanted to hear so desperately..."yes rouge,it's me."

Rouge ran over to me and hugged,no,tackled me to the ground...She held onto me as if i was gonna go away forever...Can't blame her for thinkin that...I returned the hug,getting up first,and ran my hand through her silky white hair...We stayed like that until the door burst open,revealing sonic and amy...they took one look at me and nearly fainted...Amy ran over to me and hugged me so tight i started to gasp for air..."Sonic?...could you get your girlfriend off of me?"i asked him...he blushed,but he succeeded in prying amy off of me...Rouge had fallen asleep in my embrace...she had a smile on her face...i smiled as well when I realized this..."Hey guys,you might wanna be quiet now,Rouge is asleep."I said to them...they nodded in response..."We'll be over tomorrow to talk about this."sonic said,leading amy out of the house...when they were gone,I gently shook rouge.her eyes opened and she nuzzled her cheek into my chest...i smiled again...i led rouge to her bed and layed her down...she pulled me down and set me beside her...after that,she wrapped her arms around my chest...again,i smiled..."i missed you too,batgirl."i said to her...she hugged me tighter...I began to gasp for air..."geez Rouge,are you tryin to kill me or what?"i asked her in a joking voice...she laughed..."i just missed you knuckles...is it such a crime to miss someone you love?"she asked me in a cute,loving voice...i smiled..."no...but it is a crime to kill someone...so can you please lessen your grip on me before i'm smothered in your love?"...she laughed and lessened her grip...i rolled onto my side and wrapped my arms around her back and waist,bringing her closer to me...she now had her arms and legs around me..."i love you knuckles...with all of my heart..."she said,rubbing her cheek against mine...i kissed her on her head when she had stopped rubbing her cheek against mine..."and i love you...always have,always will...let's get some sleep...we're gonna need all of the energy we can muster tomorrow..."i said to her...she nuzzled her cheek into my chest and fell asleep...i fell asleep a moment later,stroking her hair as i did so...
