Thanks for Reading! I was wondering what Wemma did for Christmas this year since Will was in Washington. This popped into my head!

R&R!

"Are you sure you can't make it home?" Emma asked Will. He was skyping her from Washington.

"It looks like it, Em. I can't get a flight home." Will said. He hated to disappoint her.

"Okay, I guess I can go to my parents' over break then. I was just really hoping to spend the holidays with you. It is our last ones together before we get married." She said.

"I'll do what I can to get home to you by Christmas Eve so I can spend it with you." Will looked hopeful.

"Promise?" Emma asked.

He smiled. "I promise."

"I should let you go. I don't want to keep you from work."

"You're more important than work. But you're right, I should go. There's an early meeting tomorrow."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Emma smiled and blew him a kiss. He ended the call. Christmas break began tomorrow and she would be spending it alone and with her parents.

•••••••••••••••••••••

Emma took the long drive down to her parents' house in Virginia after school the next day. She spent a lot of it on the phone with Will talking to him what the New Directions had been up to since they lost Sectionals.

She pulled into the driveway of her childhood home and she was greeted by her niece, Lucy. She was excited to see her and she was happy to see her too. Lucy helped her carry all of her belongings up to her room then she ran to go play.

Emma greeted her parents. Nothing had changed in Christmas traditions since she was a kid. Today was December 23rd, the day they all decorated the tree. They had Emma go get all of the ornaments from the storage room and her parents, her brother James and his family and Emma all decorated the tree together.

"Emma? Isn't Will coming?" Her mother asked.

She shook her head. "He couldn't get a flight home in time for Christmas. He's coming back for New Years though. We plan to have our Christmas then." Her mother nodded.

"Are you still getting married?" Lucy asked.

Emma laughed. "Yes we are." She yawned. "It's getting late. I'm going to bed."

"Goodnight!" Lucy said.

The next day was Christmas Eve. Lucy was very excited. Her and Emma spent the day making Christmas cookies. Emma thought spending time with her niece would keep her mind off of things, especially Will, but it just made her think of him more and how much she missed him.

After dinner, everyone gathered around the TV in the living room and watched the beginning of A Christmas Story on TBS. The doorbell rang. "Ems, can you get that?" Her father asked.

Emma got up and walked to the door and opened it. There stood Will with a bow on his jacket. Emma hugged him tightly and kissed him. She couldn't contain her excitement. "Surprise!" Will said. He was pleased with her reaction.

She beamed. "When? How? What're you doing here?"

"When you said you were going to your parents I figured I'd surprise you. It was only a few hours to drive here so I thought why not?"

"I'm getting my Christmas Eve with You." She said smiling.

He kissed her. "Merry Christmas Darling."
