AN: This was after Wild at Heart and before Who are You? In season 4, which means that, Willow has broken up with Oz and is not yet with Tara. Also italics indicate Willow's thoughts.
Willow Rosenberg was a girl who loved to babble about unimportant and often random things. But occasionally when she wasn't hanging out with her friends, killing vampires or practicing witchcraft she liked to lie down on her bed and just think.
Yes that's right think. It was on one of these, thinkathons, as she liked to call them that she began to ponder the question of who could potentially be a new love interest. After all she had broken up with Oz, maybe it was time to look for someone new. Closing her eyes she lay down on top of her bed and tried to remember all the guys she knew, which unfortunately for her was a very small number.
The question was: who was left?
Willow made a mental list of all the guys that she knew.
Ok so we have: Xander? No I've been down that road wayyy to many times and besides he's with Anya now. Riley? He's with Buffy, besides he isn't even cute Oops! I did not just think that! Bad Willow, bad! Ok moving on…Angel? Nah, he's in LA now and there is way too much history between him and Buffy.
Giles? Ok Willow you are not even going to go down that road…
Oz? Willow don't think about him, don't think about him…
Willow sat up and took a deep breath, trying to ignore her whirling thoughts. After a few minutes she tried again.
Well that's about it I guess, apart from Spike, I mean I guess I've always found the whole bleach blonde vampire thing appealing but there's no way he would be interested in someone like me would he?
Willow sighed.
Well I guess the only thing that's left is for me to become a lesbian
Suddenly Willow let out a great burst of laughter and sat up, clutching her side.
Me, become a lesbian? Yeah right! That would never happen.
