I Tread the Dawn

Dark, stormy waves crashed against my sides

I battled through flying foam and roaring winds,

Pushed through the engulfing darkness.

I was locked in the grip of a vicious monster.

I've been tossed across this lonely world,

Thrown from the comfort of my safe dock

Travelled further than I could have ever known,

To a place far stranger than my wildest imagination.

Now my bow carves through the sweetest of still waters

In this place of untamed dreams made real,

Where clear water merges with clearer sky.

At the ends if the earth, I tread the dawn.
