In the beginning

School was about to start but we still talked anyway.

"Hey Mortimer," yelled Yoh.

"Huh oh hey Yoh what do you want," asked Mortimer.

"Do you want to go to Monument Hill," asked Yoh.

"Uh yea why not," said Mortimer.

So night came and Mortimer and Yoh went to Monument Hill.

"Okay now show me that Shaman Power," said Mortimer "Okay, Amidamaru," yelled Yoh.

"Ahhh how did you do that, could you teach me," asked Mortimer.

"Okay I'll teach you how to do it," said Yoh

And a beam of light came out of Yoh and into Mortimer.

"So do I have the power," asked Mortimer.

"Yes you have the Shaman Power, Inkayashi," said Yoh

" So how do I use the power," asked Mortimer.

"If your in trouble or you just want some help, think real hard and yell out his name, " said Yoh.

But before he could Mortimer could try they were interrupted by Rio.

"This time I will kill you Yoh," said Rio.

"No I won't let you," said Mortimer.

"Humph the little one wants beat up some more, fine I will kill you both, "said Rio, "aaah."

"No Inkayashi," yelled Mortimer.

And Mortimer drawed a big sword out and sliced Rio across the face.

"You'll pay for that," yelled Rio.

So Rio ran up and sliced Mortimer on the side and knocked him off Monument Hill.

"No Mortimer," yelled Yoh, "Amidamaru."

Yoh also got his Shaman Power and was fighting Rio but Rio was to strong and knocked Yoh's sword out of his hand and was going to kill him when.

"Aaaah."

Mortimer came out of nowhere and stabbed the sword right through Rio back and Rio fell to the ground.

"Is he dead Morty?" asked Yoh.

"I can't understand if the stab is fatal enough to kill him," said Mortimer.

So tomorrow morning came so soon and Mortimer didn't get his homework done.

"Aaaaa only five more minutes till school gotta hurry," said Mortimer.

"Mortimer hurry up you'll be late for school," yelled Mortimer's mom.

"Wait it's the last question," yelled Mortimer.

"Honk honk."

"Wait wait," yelled Mortimer.

Mortimer barley made it on the bus when he saw some of Rio's gang members.

"H….Hi guys sorry to here about Rio who could have done something like that."

"You and that Yoh guy," said B Boy.

"What made you think that."

"Because we saw two shadows up on Monument Hill with Rio, one about the size of you and one about the size of Yoh."

Boy was I glad when we got to school because I was about to get beat up by those guys.

"Mortimer," yelled Yoh "how are you doing."

"How late were we out last night," asked Mortimer

"Why."

"Okay I'll tell you from the beginning, I over slept and almost didn't get my homework done and I almost got beat up by some of Rio's gang members."

"Do they know we killed Rio," asked Yoh "oh yea we were out till one in the morning."

"Yes I think they know we killed Rio but lets just forget about it and go to school."

"Okay," said Yoh.

So they went to school like they didn't know anything that happened last night.
