*Prologue: Two Worlds Collide*

In the dragon realms, Spyro and Sparx are with their friends celebrating the year of Ripto's defeat at the Dragon Castle. Elora, Hunter, Bianca, the fawns, the fairies, and dragons are celebrating the party with the purple dragon.

"Can't believe it's been a whole year since Spyro defeated Ripto." Hunter said. "That freak had it coming too."

"Because of Spyro, the realms are safe." Elora said with a smile. Spyro blushed a little. Sparx chuckled by buzzing. Lola flew over to her him and kissed his cheek. She is very proud of her adopted son. As the fairy flew away, Hunter faces the purple dragon with a smirk.

"So, Spyro, have you been seeing that pink dragon, Ember?" He asked. "She has a thing for you since you saved her from the lava." Spyro's cheeks turn redder.

"Uhh, no. No, of course not." He replied, turning away from the cheetah. "Why? What did she tell you?"

"Ha ha. Nothing. Just asking." Hunter said, bringing his hands up in defense. Spyro narrowed his eyes at him, but quickly went wide when he and the rest feel the quake. Elora tumbled down to the grass. Hunter and Bianca held each, looking up at the sky to see a light forming.

"What is that?!" Bianca asked. The light grew bigger, causing everyone to cover their eyes. Spyro opened one eye to see Ember and Flame rushing over to him, wondering what is going on, but Spyro told them to stay down and cover their eyes from a strange light. The quake continues and everything turned white.

On Wumpa Island, Crash is snoozing on the beach as Crunch is lifting weights and Coco is on her laptop under the umbrella. Polar and Pura are resting by her feet, hearing waves and seagulls in their ears.

"You know something?" Crunch spoke. "Cortex didn't even try anything funny to take over the world or try to kill us lately." Coco faces him. Now that the burgundy bandicoot brought it up, Coco began to wonder.

"Yeah. It's been...months, right?" She asked. "You think he finally gave up?"

"I wouldn't count on that, sis." Crunch replied. "That doctor will always have something up his sleeve. He could be waiting for us to get to his trap or he would appear at any moment." Before Coco could say anything, the earthquake began. It woke Crash up from his long nap, and the pets. Coco fell off of her chair, holding her laptop close to her chest, and went under the table as the quake continues. Crash then looked up at the sky to see a bright light forming. He covered his eyes with one arm.

"What's happening?" Crunch asked, holding Pura and Polar who panicked. Coco then noticed a bright light and Crash is still standing.

"Crash! Come here!" She called, but it was too late. The bandicoots and their pets shield their eyes as everything turned white.

Spyro opened his eyes and see everyone and the party is still in place. What just happened? Where did that come from? Lola is above everyone, asking if they are alright. Seems like every creature is okay. A tall blue dragon looked up at the fairy.

"What was that light, Lola?" He asked. "Where did it come from?"

"I don't know. But, I feel strange power from it." Lola said. "I'll head out to check on the rest of this realm to see if anything changes. Spyro, stay here with the others. I'll be back."

"Careful, mom." Spyro told her. The fairy flew off with the other fairies following her. Elora brush down her green top to get the dirt off.

"What just happened?" She asked. Hazel and Summer walked over, still shaking over the quake. Everyone are asking each other, and themselves, what happened. Spyro wanted to know what the quake and the light is about, but he doesn't have an answer. His mother will find out soon enough. Sparx flew over to see a object on the grass. It looks like a fruit, but not like any other fruit he's ever seen. He turned to the purple dragon and called him over to see the fruit. Spyro walked over and see the fruit.

"Huh. Never see fruit before. Wonder who brought it over?" He said. His head lowered to sniff it. He took a bite. Juice dripping down his chin. Spyro's eyes grew wide and he spits out the fruit. "Ugh! Gross. What kind of fruit is this?" He grunted. He wipes his mouth and turn back to his allies. Ember walked over to him.

"Spyro, what do you think happened? No one got hurt. Nothing changed." She said.

"Wish I knew, Ember." Spyro replied. "Until my mom returns, we will find out what causes that event."

"Is everyone alright?" Aku Aku asked the bandicoots who rub their eyes from the light that disappeared and the earthquake ended. Crash groaned a little and look at his siblings and the mask. He doesn't know what just happened, but hopefully that Aku Aku knows.

"We're fine." Coco told the mask. "That was some earthquake, but what was that light, Aku Aku? It came out of nowhere."

"I'm not sure, but I do sense some strange energy from it." Aku Aku replied. He looked back at the house and the rest of the area to see nothing has been damaged after the earthquake. "Hmm. It seems this island is unharmed, and same with the other islands." He said. He then faces the third island across from them. There is Cortex's castle. "I doubt that Dr. Cortex had anything to do with the light. He would've damage our home or kidnap you."

"What else could it be?" Crunch asked.

"N. Tropy?" Coco guessed. Crash scratched his head, thinking what or who causes the earthquake and the light.

"No, it couldn't be him." Aku Aku told the female bandicoot. "We've humiliated him enough after defeating N. Trance with the help of Fake Crash." As the bandicoots and the mask are wondering about this, Crash hears buzzing sounds. He turned to see some colorful dragonflies that he never seen before. He smiled at the sight and walk over to them. A red dragonfly turned around to see Crash walking over to him and the other dragonflies. It warned the others and fly away.

"Aww..." Crash whined a little, lowering his ears. "Hm?" He looked down to see some gems on the grass, but they are not the same gems he has seen from his adventures. These gems are little. Crash picked them up and his eyes are sparkling. "Ooohhh!"

Inside the lab of Cortex's castle, two villains stood face to face, talking things about after they experience the strange light made two worlds collide. They are also wondering what caused them to have their worlds collide, but they do have a lot in common. Cortex is telling Ripto about his enemy, Crash Bandicoot, who keeps defeating him and save the day with his sister and the ancient mask. Ripto, in return, is telling Cortex about him facing Spyro a year ago at a castle and got burned in the lavas. Now that the villains told the stories, Cortex had a plan.

"Since we have problems with our enemies, we should have them fight each other, thinking they are the enemies." He said, smirking. "We will use those riptocs of yours to give those two trouble." Ripto smirked, gripping on his scepter.

"Yes, Cortex. My riptocs will dress up as Crash and Spyro... Ha ha ha! Our foes won't even realize that they should be on the same side." He snickered.

"Excellent! I'll activate the warp pads to send your riptocs out there! These fools will be in for a surprise!" Cortex said, walking over to his computer. "Soon, I...er, we will rule more than one world!" He activated the warp pads. Ripto's riptocs have the masks on. Half wearing a Crash mask, other half wearing a Spyro mask. The villains let out evil laughter.

*Author's Note: Okay, here's a prologue of the crossover of two heroes we love so much, but based on the game from Gameboy. I never play them before, but did watch the gameplays on youtube. The story could've been better, but it's cool that Crash and Spyro got a crossover.
Before you say anything, the characters I put in here are my FCs that are from my other stories. I am still working on a Spyro fic, so don't worry, I'll get to it soon. If you are not a fan of crossovers such as this, don't read at all.
