Draco and Hermione sat on the couch, watching the sunrise. It had to have been about five in the morning, and they were exhausted. Hermione was curled up in Draco's chest, fiddling with his shirt.

"Do you want to go to sleep?" Draco asked.

Hermione shook her head. "Don't want to sleep. Don't want to miss this."

Draco chuckled. "We're married. I'll still be here in the morning. I'll be right next to you."

Hermione nuzzled into him further. "Still no. I might be exhausted, but I don't want to sleep."

"You have to be in work in four hours," he reminded her.

"No sleep." She sounded like a petulant child.

Draco wrapped his arms around her pulling her closer. He needed the reassurance that she was still there, and he suspected that she needed it as well.

"Bad dreams he asked?"

Hermione lifted her head, her eyes meeting his. Fear hid behind them. "You were gone," she said.

"I sometimes worry about that," Draco confessed. "That you'll realize you're much too good for me and leave."

Hermione shook her head, tears in her eyes. "I married you for a reason. I'm not going anywhere."

A/N: If you haven't listened to "Two Sleepy People" by Fats Waller, you should. It's a wonderful song. It's so adorable.
