The sun rose over Jump City bay. It's light illuminating the unusually peacefully city. Suddenly a cloud began to collapse in on itself, and slowly a small wormhole began to form. As minutes ticked by the wormhole grew larger and larger until the few citiziens awake below took notice and began to panic. Phones began ringing and as the city sprang to life a final call was made.
Elsewhere an alarm blared, it's wailing echoing down the halls of a dark empty tower. In one of the tower's many rooms a masked teen quickly leapt out of bed. He was garbed in a yellow, red and green uniform and had dark spikey black hair that seemed to laugh at gravity. He quickly made his way through the tower's maze like hallways before finally entering a large common room. A large Tv screen dominated one side of the room and was the source of the current wakeup call. The masked teen made his way toward the terminal but before he could reach it the common room door slid open once more and three teens made their way into the room. The first was a teenage girl who was slightly above average height. Her most striking features however were her bright green eyes and fiery red hair. The second to make her way into the room was another teenage girl who was a little shorter than the first. Both her face and body were concealed beneath a dark blue cloak. The only parts of her that were visible were her eyes. Two brilliant orbs of Amethyst shone from underneath her cloak. The third to make his way into the room was a tall African American male. Half of his body consisted of a white and blue alloy. His left eye glowed red while his human eye was a soft blue. In his left arm he held a fourth teen who was still fast asleep. Said teen was the shortest of the group and had the slimmest build. He wore a black and purple jumpsuit, but what made most take a second take was the fact that his skin and hair were green. "Starfire, Raven, Cyborg" The masked teen greeted. "Cyborg can you wake Beastboy up?" "You got it Robin" Cyborg replied before slapping Beastboy's head. "Hey! I was sleeping!" Beastboy complained as he held his head. "Well it's time to wake up." Robin stated flatly. "We're recieving a call on the secure line." "Dude!" Beastboy exlaimed. "The last time we got a call on that line.." "I know" Robin interupted. "Whatever this is, It's huge." As Robin made his way over to the terminal to answer the call the entire tower began to shake and suddenly the power went out.
At that point Cyborg went ballistic.
"Aw man! You know how much time I put into this new mainframe for the tower? Half the circuits are fried!" "Dude how come you aint fried to? Beastboy decided to ask. "I installed state of the art Emp dampners into my systems awhile back." Cyborg replied proudly. "Yet you neglected to install a single one throughout the entire tower. You're truly a genius." Raven sarcastically added. "I was getting around to installing them eventually." He sheepishly replied. "Cut the chatter team" Robin ordered. "Look. We've got bigger issues." The team looked out the window at the Jump City skyline to see a massive wormhole hanging over the city. Suddenly debris began raining out of the wormhole onto the city causing the tower to began shaking again. "Titans!! Go!!" Robin ordered as they ran for the door.
