It was Saturday night and Juliet O'Hara sat in her living room waiting for Shawn Spencer to come pick her up for their date. She picked up her phone and dialed his number.
"Hola, Señora!"
"Shawn, cut that out." She began. "Where are you? You were supposed to be here an hour ago!"
Shawn could tell she was disappointed in him, even through the distorted sounds on the phone. "I know, Jules, and I'm sorry. It's just Gus found an arcade and brought me."
Juliet frowned. "So leave the arcade and come here." She demanded.
"I would, but we're battling each other on this Planet of the Apes game that is totally awesome! The spirits tell me to play!"
Boys! She thought. "You know what, Shawn, just forget about it. Some other day, okay?"
"The spirits agree!" He said.
He hung up and Juliet decided to spendanother night watching another
movie and eating more pizza. I'm going to kill him someday.She thought.
