I was sleeping when I heard a tap on the window. It was Snape. I went over and let him in.
"Snape!" I said in a whisper. "What are you doing here?!"
"I had to see you," he said plainly. "I couldn't wait till the beginning of the year."
I punched him in the arm and then kissed him on the cheek. All of a sudden I heard a knock on the door.
"Hide!" I whispered to Snape.
Snape hid under the bed and I threw blankets on the floor to cover him from sight.
"Come in!" I said to my sister and she walked into the room.
"Lily," Petunia said sternly. "I thought I heard whispers."
"Well, Petunia," I said. "As you can see, there is no one in here except for me."
Petunia stuck her nose in the air and left.
"You can come out from under there," I told Snape. "Petunia is gone. Snape, Snape?"
I picked up the blankets and he was gone. There was no sign he had ever been here. I carefully closed the window and went back to sleep. I had the most peculiar dream. I was at Hogwarts and Snape was there, too. Only, we were the only ones there. I leaned over and kissed Snape on the cheek.
"Snape," I said. "I know what happened with James and I'm sorry."
"It's fine, Lily," he said. "It wasn't your fault."
Snape grabbed my hand and I woke up with my mother shaking my shoulder.
"Lily," she said. "You don't want to miss the train, do you?"
I sat up smiling.
"We have to get to Diagon Alley, mother." I said excited.
My mother left and I got dressed. I was so excited I accidentally put my wizard robes on instead of my muggle clothing. I come from a muggle family, so I wear muggle clothes whenever I'm at home from school. Anyways I shoved my robes off and put my muggle clothing on. I was in a hurry so I just put on jeans and a t-shirt. When we finally left it was 10:00. The Hogwarts Express leaves at 11:00. When we got to King's Cross Station I went to get onto Platform 9 3/4. Platform 9 3/4 is a wizard platform, so muggles didn't know it was there. If only they payed attention to these things. I ran into the wall and right through it. I spotted the Hogwarts Express. It was a brilliant red. Anyways, I got a seat on the bus. Snape came to the compartment and sat down.
"Hello, Lily." he said.
"Hello, Severus."
All of a sudden James Potter came in with Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew.
"Severus Snape," James said smirking. "Go play with your chemistry set."
"Shut it, Potter!" I said. "Or I'll blast you with a spell."
I got out my wand and so did James and Snape.
"Expelliarmus!" Snape said disarming James.
"Ventus!" I shouted sending the boys out.
I sat down and looked out the window.
