What do you want to be when you grow up?

It didn't surprise anyone when seven-year-old Colin Creevey said "Iron Man!"

After all, he had loved the Avengers his whole short life.

The life of eleven-year-old Colin was full exciting experiences and new passions, but (though his career goals had changed) his love for comics, reminders of home, never faded.

When the world fell apart around him, he needed comics to escape into a world where red and gold meant a loved hero, not a reason to fight.

Grown-up-too-fast Colin never became Iron man.

But he died a hero nonetheless.
