As she stops crying in her small-sized teal apartment, her phone lights up, showing the face she loved dearly on the lock screen.She unlocks her phone, replying to what he said.
My Love: Sweetie, may I please see you?
Me: Okay...
My Love: Okay, please come outside then.
She blinks her eyes in confusion and looks out her white blinds. Her eyes widen as the red truck engine turns off, with a young boy wearing glasses steps out of it. She grabs her coat, and opens her door with a smile. She walks out, locks the door and puts the key in her pocket. The young lady walks down the stairs quickly, making her wonder what he was doing at her place.
He kneels down on one knee looking at the green grass as she made her way to the final step. "My sweetheart, I'm so sorry about tonight. I promise I will make it up to you. My parents are doing okay, so I drove here while they slept," He said while slowly looking up at her.N-No it's okay... I understand," She replied. He stood and looked in her eyes with a small smile, "You were crying weren't you?" She rubs her eyes embarrassed, "No I accidentally poured water on my face..."
He pulls her closer, letting them hug. "Please don't cry. I bought you this." He fixed his red velvet glasses and ran to the car, returning with two small boxes wrapped. She looks at him surprised and then he put one gently on both hands."Y-Yoosung, what are these?" She said quietly after he placed a pink rose on her braids she made for earlier. She opens them one by one and tears up. "It's ice cream, cookies, and the other one has a teal dress with a bundle of roses," she said.
He smiles once the gifts from him were opened, "I'm sorry about the date. Can re reschedule it for Monday? We can still go to the restaurant that we were gonna go today, or we can go to another one?"
She puts the gifts down and runs to him. She cries on his shoulders while he holds on her her. The clouds above, thunder loudly making the sky rain with tears of joy. He puts his blue jean jacket around her, and she grabs the gifts he gave her. Together, the couple go upstairs with a smile on their faces. She unlocks the door and invites him to come in. He shakes his head as a no, and gives her a kiss on her forehead.
"So, you want your jacket back?" She asked. He chuckles and answers no, "I'll pick it up at our date on Monday. Around 7 pm?"
She smiles, nodding her head as a yes. They hugged each other once more before he walks down the stairs.
The engine to his truck roars and he drives away.
Her phone lights up again, showing his pale face, blonde hair, purple eyes, and his glasses. She unlocks her phone to see the message he left before he slept.
