Legolas hopped down from a boulder, sighing dreamily. Today was the day he would confess his love to the beautiful Elven princess Arwen. He'd tied up Aragorn and shoved him into a bathroom so he wouldn't be flirting with her as he usually did. He had picked a bunch of silver wildflowers for her, and made chocolate covered lembas just like his mum used to make. He set one foot on the path to Imladris and smiled. Today would be his lucky day.
Aragorn thrashed back and forth, cursing. "Bloody lovestruck Elf! Damn! Damn! Damn!" He shouted for the fourth time, trying once again to free himself of his restraints. He shouted again, hoping Elrohir and Elladan were around. He heard frantic footsteps running to the door. The door opened and revealed a very confused Elladan. 'Oh thank Elbereth!!! Help me out of these ropes." Elladan helped him quickly and cocked an eyebrow. "Legolas." Aragorn said flatly. Elladan furrowed his brows and pointed down to the courtyard. Legolas was looking around frantically. Aragorn growled and stomped angrily outside.
Legolas looked casually around for Arwen. He hoped he didn't look frantic. He smoothed his hair out one more time and twiddled his thumbs. Suddenly he heard angry shouts and was face to face with Aragorn. "Er…Hello!" Legolas said. Aragorn scowled and punched Legolas in the face. He reeled, taking a few steps back. Aragorn took the ropes that had Legolas had used to tie him up and tied him to a tree branch and gagged him. Legolas mumbled angrily, rocking back and forth. Aragorn picked up the bouqet of wildflowers and grinned. "Thanks mate." A few moments later Arwen appeared on one of the paths. Legolas yelled again, muffled by the gag. Aragorn smiled attractively, opening his arms for Arwen. She ran and hugged him, beaming. "I've missed you." He whispered, eyeing Legolas devilishly. "I've missed you too, Estel. Legolas told me to come here. He's such a good friend to you, don't you think?" Aragorn nodded. Legolas gazed spitefully at Aragorn for at least ten minutes. "I've got to go, but I will see you at dinner, yes?" Arwen cooed, stroking Aragorns' face. He nodded and kissed her. "Good bye, my heart." She ran off in the direction she came, smiling. Aragorn came and untied Legolas, letting him fall to the ground. "You are the best friend a man could have." Legolas glowered and gracefully walked along the river towards Arwen. Aragorn nodded gravely. "Sorry my friend." He ran up to Legolas and pushed him into the water. "Ack! My hair!" Legolas cried, splashing in the water like a pretty little fish. "Good bye. I'll see you at dinner." Aragorn called, walking back towards Arwen.
