Chapter One : Pride Of Youths
Waking up remembering to call Amy her best friends of eleven years, asking " How do blind people pick out clothes" to which Amy replied " I guess they wear alot sweatpants" about to respond to her friend karma was interrupted by her mother say something about chakras or something like that, not wanting the conversation with her mom to be to long ,karma quickly thought of something say to get her to leave "gotta go mom Amy's in crisis" " no what happened is she? " Showing obvious concern " her hamster died but she'll be fine" " my god that terrible" she offered up " ok man mom gotta go thank god!" Amy took her turn to speak " you know I'm freak out by the idea of rodents as pets right?". Karma of course knew this "yeah of course it was the the first I could think of", So Amy thought it time explain the plan for Karma to blind herself. Karma started going how at Hester you be different to fit in that was not how it worked at other schools.
Finding herself guiding a self blinded Karma, annoyed by the auburn haired pride of the ridiculous plan to get popular. Out of no where a football came flying towards Karma, almost on reflex she caught the ball to which she proclaim"dammit", to which she went on how she didn't want to become her parents or bullshit like that.
From the crowd emerged the figure of me soon to be step sister Lauren. Throughout the whole argument of whether or not me and Karma should move or not, when she made the lesbian comment it made me feel angry for some reason I could not explain, it's not I'm one or anything like that.
Everything about the conversation change when the boy came to our defense for some reason , probably just they found it funny to fuck with Lauren's head. Clearly they managed to get under the skins of Lauren, they introduced themself to us, the taller on with light brown was called Liam and the shorter one with jet black hair was called Shane. Liam was Hester's resident ladies man,and Shane was the out and proud everything this School represents.
After Karma ran off due to the fact she can to fact she cannot talk to cute boy without throwing up. Shane invited us to his party, I politely said sure and ran after Karma. Catching up to Karma told her the news, that I sort of got us into Shane party that she was will to blind herself to get a invite to.
Making our way to English class I fine both Shane and Liam in the classroom talking with some girls she seem like know Shane at least. Lauren was sitting at the front of class with her two lapdogs then at the back was this long dark brown haired flannel shirt black Skinny jean, soft blue eyes that seem to give off that he hated being here.
English was the one those class where just seem to start talking about stuff, not like what all we talk about was all that important. Our english tutor was one of those new age college that believe everyone was writer, he seem so interested in the boy at the back of the Class. Like the boy seemed to hold something the tutor wanted , everything someone tried speaking to him he would just say "I don't know" or "whatever" like they were the only words he knew.
