"I don't want to be a liar, but it's what I am and I have to fix that." Scorpius said, taking in a deep breath as he ruffled his hair up.

The auburn haired girl who was lying in his bed in the Heads dorms, however, simply rolled her eyes as her boyfriend paced up and down the room, muttering things about how he was a liar and how he needed to be fixed and make things right.

"Scor, calm down. It's a Friday night, Slytherin have their first match against Hufflepuff tomorrow, it's going to be your first match as captain, and you're obviously just nervous." the girl shrugged, going back to flicking through her Potions textbook.

"No, Lily," Scorpius took the book away from her and placed it on his bedside, calming himself by rubbing his temples, though he still paced the floor, "can you please kiss me?"

Lily looked at the blonde haired Slytherin as she raised her eyebrows. She wasn't sure if she fully understood what he had asked her, but, being a diligent girlfriend, she got up off the bed and walked over to where he had stopped. She placed her small hands on his biceps as she slowly rubbed up and down his arms in a calming action.

She stood up on her tip-toes as she softly pressed her lips against Scorpius', and she was sure that she could taste the tears as they fell from Scorpius' eyes. The kiss was sweet and innocent and was everything their relationship was.

As they pulled away, Scorpius placed his lips against the base of her neck, "I'm sorry, I really am – Merlin only knows how sorry I am. I love you, don't you ever forget that."

Lily stood an arm length distance apart from him, "I don't understand… are you… are we, breaking up?" her voice cracked as she felt her eyes brim with unshed tears.

"I'm sorry,"

"No, it's fine. Don't be sorry, you were right with what you said earlier. You're a liar and a fucking low one at that. If you loved me, you wouldn't be doing this." Lily picked up the Potions book and stormed out of the room, but not before she could cast a Bat-Bogey Hex his way.

"When you break up," Lily whispered, her voice breaking slightly, "your whole identity is shattered. It's like death."

Dominique looked at her younger cousin before sitting on the floor in front of her, "Want me to hex him for you?"

Lily smiled, before shaking her head and sighing, "I thought he was the one, Dom. I thought that we'd never have our last kiss. I'm going to go to bed, goodnight." Lily got up and walked towards the fifth year girl's dorms.

"Lily?" Dominique called up to her cousin.

"Yeah?"

"He was stupid. That's all."

A/N: First ever Scorpius x Lily fiction I've wrote and to be honest, considering I love this pairing so much, I was kind of scared to write them but, I'm proud of what turned out - I think that's the first time I've ever said that! - but thanks so much for reading!
