A/N: Another one of my famous oneshots! Have you ever thought about what happened when Cinerpelt went to StarClan? Usually, I suppose, they are welcomed to StarClan and take their place, but what about Cinderpelt? Well, this explains, well, what I think it does.
Disclaimer: My idea, Warriors not!
Cinderpelt's POV:
I opened my eyes, expecting to see the ThunderClan camp and badgers everywhere, but instead, I was at fourtrees. "Huh," I said looking around.
Suddenly the stars came closer to me and emerged cats whose pelts and eyes held the secrets of the universe. This, was StarClan. Yellowfang emerged from the ranks and said, "Welcome, my apprentice and friend. It is time for your service towards your clan to end and for you to join StarClan-"
"What! No! I'm not ready!" I shouted. The members of StarClan glanced nervously at each other. This had never happened before.
"But why, Cinderpelt?" asked Yellowfang, her eyes filled with worry.
"When I was a kit, I wanted to be a warrior. Even as a medicine cat, I still longed to go on patrols, hunt for my clan and sleep with the warmth of others around me in the den," explained Cinderpelt.
Bluestar came out of the ranks, "I know how much you wanted to be a warrior, but you can't go back now. Not even StarClan can change the past. You must acept the fact that your dream will never come true."
"So is all that talk of chasing your dreams a lie? The only thing that kept me living was the fact that I was helping my clan. But at times like the battle with BloodClan, I realized that I won't always be able to help my clanmates. Sometimes, I feel worthless."
Yellowfang bowed her head, "I know how you feel. When I became medicine cat, it took me forever to acept the fact that I couldn't still be a warrior-"
I interupted my former mentor, "But you still got to live the experince!"
"Cinderpelt, just acept it. No changing history. Now join StarClan in our ranks," Bluestar said, her eyes full of pity for the cat who never got to live her dream.
"I'm sorry Bluestar, but I could never join you now. My soul is too restless. I must acomplish this one last adventure, becoming a warrior," I said sadly.
Another cat stepped foward. "Hello Cinderpelt. My name is Spottedleaf. I know a way that you could continue to live. It is an old way, butit still may work. If a litter of cats are born when the cat dies, the dead cat may choose a kitten and their spirit will live in that cat."
My eyes filled with joy, "Sorreltail's litter! So, what will happen?"
"You will live as you would normally, but you would have your own spirit. You wouldn't remeber any of this, StarClan may choose to give your mermories back. You won't be left in the dark completey. If something happens, like badgers attack again, you will know what they look like and the horrors of being attacked, but no know how," answered Spottedleaf.
"Ok. I wish to take the form of one of Sorreltail's kits," I said.
A voice seemed to come from all of the cats, "Goodbye Cinderpelt. When you come here again, there is no returning." With that, fourtrees disappered and I was plunged into darkness. I opened my eyes again, and was Cinderkit, one of Sorreltail's kits.
So? Don't kill me! I know it may be horrible, but o well. It's hard to write like this. There is so limited things for them to say. Now, press review, but remeber this one was a oneshot. Thx for reading!
