Guys, I must do this story or I shall die. Hope you like it!

Dorian's POV

Dorian looked across the table. Minister Mullison was still trembling at the severed head in front of him. He wouldn't have been surprised if the minister vomited right there. He was the one who had made the anonymous threat against Nehemia's life?

After a moment, his father looked up from the list and surveyed her. "Well done, Champion. Well done indeed."

Then Celaena and the King of Adarlan smiled at each other, and it was the most terrifying thing Dorian had ever seen.

Dorian's POV

The King of Adarlan bent over and whispered something in Celaena's ears. She smiled at him and whispered king nodded and she whirled out of the room.

"Starting from today, my Champion will replace Minister Mullison on the council." my father announced.

"WHAT?!" I couldn't figure out if it was me, Chaol or Miniser Mullison. Although I'm 75% sure that it's me.

"Please," my father gestured to the guards posted by the door, "escort minister Mullison to the dungeons." he guards came over instantly and dragged minister Mullison. "I'm going to cut the meeting short, as I need to be somewhere quickly. He stood from his chair and we all stood. We bowed as he went out and Chaol instantly came over to me.

"Can you believe it? She's replacing Mullison! You have to talk some sense into her. You're the only one she'll listen to right now." I didn't even answer as he dragged me from my chair and led me up to her room. He put my hand on the door knob and left without another word. Even if I didn't know what he used to have with Celaena, I know it hurt him to stay away from her and act so cold.

Celaena's POV

I was just sitting in front of the fire with a book in my hand when I heard the door knob turn and heard footsteps. Instantly, I knew it was Dorian.

"What do you want?" annoyance leaking from my voice. "Wait, don't answer that. He sent you, didn't he?" We both knew who that he was.

"Uh, no." he answered, awkward.

"You were always horrible at lying." I told him.

He let out a sigh and looked at me with something dull about his sapphire blue eyes. "Are you really going to join the council? I mean, why not, but you might not really like it, and uh... your freedom might be at stake... so, I don't think it's a good idea."he mumbled pathetically.

"I don't need you to worry for me. I'm past that. And for my freedom, I've arranged that too, so I'm fine. And tell him to stop sending you to talk to me. I have my own life now, thank you to his majesty, so mind you own business."

Yes, I know it's short, yes I know Celaena was a bitch there, but we need that. And you might wonder about the king and Celaena, but it's all part of the story. Toodles!
