Ridiculous
By SMYGO4EVA
Truly, the feelings were slightly reciprocated, mutual even. The friendship and trust came through as a whole package, one that could never be broken. One that would never embrace the charcoal skies of darkness or erupt into ice. Other than that, everything seemed perfect at Foster's. However, there was something more than friendship with Mac, the boy who visited Foster's on a daily basis for Bloo, his own imaginary friend. There was something else. Maybe, love perhaps?
Eduardo first thought of his feelings as ridiculous; he couldn't possibly love Mac, he was his friend, and if he said anything, he didn't want to destroy all that was good in the platonic amity. After all, he was sure that man and beast wouldn't belong together. And he certainly didn't want bestiality to overpower the true meaning of the simple infatuation.
Obscure as it was, but undeniable, it would cause quite a scandal at Foster's if anything would be uttered of the sudden interest of the young boy. Mac, in question, would be shocked and confused, but he would understand. Eduardo then decided to settle with loving Mac from afar; he could still love him even if Mac didn't love him that way. Then again, he would want to get it off his chest, but the simple sentence would change everything. Ridiculous as it sounds, Eduardo would still love Mac, even if it would be unrequited love.
