It is Christmas morning, and Inko is going to wake up her son Izuku when she hears him talking on his cellphone. "No, you didn't wake me up. I was up already. I will go see you soon?" The green-hair boy beams brightly. It is not hard to tell who her son is talking to. It is a boy names Shoto, who her son is in love with. Every time when Shoto calls, Izuku's face will sparkle like Christmas lights. She wonders what her son's lover is like?
Quietly, Inko goes into the kitchen and looks at all the baking supplies on the counter. Every year at Christmas, she would wake up Izuku and and two of them would make Christmas cookies together. The two of them will eat the cookies while watching the Christmas parade. "I guess this year Izuku is spending Christmas with that Shoto boy." The mother thinks; she can't help but feeling a little lonely. Children grow up and Christmas means holiday dates instead of spending time with mother.
Inko is about to put the flour away when Izuku walks in the kitchen. "Merry Christmas, mom! Let's make some cookies!" The green-hair boy greets.
"You don't have anything to do?" The mother asks.
"Oh, yes, I want to ask you..." Izuku says excited, "will you go somewhere with me after we're done?"
"I will love to." Inko wonders where are they going.
"Thank you, mom! Can we bring some cookies too?" The Smash boy chips. After the mother and son finish their Christmas cookies, they pack up and head out. To Inko's surprise, Izuku takes her to a hospital. A handsome boy with different eye colors is standing at the hospital gate waiting for them. "Mom, I'll like you to meet a good friend of mine, Shoto." Izuku introduces.
"Good morning, sorry you and your mother have to come to a hospital on Christmas." Shoto says to the freckle boy, "my mother lives here, and I want to spend the holiday with her."
"Don't say sorry! I want to meet your mom. Let's not keep her waiting." Izuki replies.
"Thank you for coming to see me and my mother, Mrs. Midoriya." The heterochromia says politely.
"Call me mom." Inko smiles. With those words, the serious Shoto relaxes and smiles, "mom..."
Inko, Izuku and Shoto have Christmas cookies with Shoto's mom while the four of them watch the Christmas parade on TV. Inko thought she is losing a son, but she gains a son today. Shoto is very strong and smart; and more importantly, gentle and protective toward Izuki. Inko can tell Shoto will take great care of Izuku. That is the greatest gift any mother can ask for.
...The End...
Merry Christmas!
