This story is basically written so I could sastisfy myself when i wanted Ash to catch certain pokemon and how I think Ash's journey should have went.
I don't own Pokémon.
The Kanto Arc
Chapter 1: A New Beginning
' Ash...Ash...Ash wake up!' screamed Delia Ketchum. 'Just 5 more minutes, dad.' said Ash. 'I am not you dad, I am your mom and you better get ready because today is the day...' Without letting his mom finish, Ash hopped out of bed and went down the stairs, almost faster than an Aerodactyl. Delia sighed and said to herself while rubbing her forehead, 'That boy always admired his father for his skills as a trainer, don't know how he will handle the truth.' 'Thats it Delia, you are going to tell him the truth today and thats final!' Delia tells herself.
Meanwhile, downstairs Ash is reading a book about Kanto pokemon, while pouring his favourite Honey Staryu cereal in his bowl. 'Wow, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. Thats it, I am going to catch all of them! But first, which should I choose as my starter pokemon?' said the young trainer as he reads the book. As Ash is busy chowing down his favourite Honey Staryu, Delia walks down the stairs and says, ' Hey Ash, I have to tell you something, its about your father, he is actually...' But Ash shouts, ' Sorry mom, I gotta get to Professor Oak's lab! Bye mom, see you later!' Delia sighs and went back to the kitchen.
Ash was running to the Professor's lab, eager to get his first Pokémon and start his journey when he bumped into someone. 'Hey! What did you do that for?!' . 'Sorry sir, but I would like to ask if you know someone named Ash Ketchem? Black eyes, Spiky black hair...' said the mysterious person. Ash replied, 'That would be me.' The mysterious person took off his coat and hat, 'It is I, Professor Oak and you must be Ash, nice to meet you.' Ash said with excitement, 'Oh you are Professor Oak, well can i get my starter pokemon?' Professor Oak shakes his head, 'I am sorry Ash, we are out of starter pokemon. You should have came sooner, but I do have this Pokémon.'
'Come on out Pichu!' shouted Oak.
'Pi-chu'
'Oh wow, but wait didn't you say you were out of starter pokémon?' Oak turned his head facing Ash 'Well we were, but you see this Pichu was the last Pokémon I caught before I ended my journey and decided to become a Pokémon professor and since it never really got any time to go on a journey. I think its only right if it goes to another trainer. I know you will train it well, Ash.' 'Wow! Thanks Professor Oak!' Oak smiled and said, 'No problem Ash'
'Alright, Pichu! Return!
'Pi-chu!' 'Pi-chu!' Pichu ran away from the ray of light and did not enter its Pokéball.
It then used Thunderbolt on Ash and Oak.
Suddenly, Pichu started to glow.
'What's going on?' asked Ash.
'Its evolving!'
'Pi-ka-chu' cried Pikachu with a smirk on its face.
